Efka® SL 3210 is a slip and leveling agent, a very effective additive to increase substrate wetting, slip, surface smoothness, and gloss. It has good compatibility with a broad range of printing ink systems and is relatively insensitive to pin-holing, even at high dosage. The chemical nature is organically modified polysiloxane.

Efka® FL 3745 is a silicone-free flow and leveling agent with air release properties designed for liquid non-aqueous coatings. It is also suitable for powder coatings, modifying surface tension to provide smooth, trouble-free film surfaces, and enhancing gloss. In its physical form, it is a clear, colorless liquid.

Efka® SL 3200 serves as a slip and leveling additive, featuring solvent-free polysiloxane block polymer. Its key benefits include enhancing flow and slip in solvent-based and solvent-less coatings.

Efka® SL 3030 functions as a slip and leveling agent, universally compatible with various coating systems. It does not cause cratering even in high concentrations and offers benefits such as improved leveling, increased scratch and abrasion resistance, prevention of floating, improved antiblocking characteristics, and acts as a defoamer and de-aeration aid.

Efka® FL 3600 is a flow and leveling agent that offers a strong reduction of surface tension, good compatibility, and effective anti-cratering properties. In slightly yellowish liquid form, Efka® FL 3600 enhances the flow and leveling characteristics of coatings.

Efka® FL 3741 functions as a silicone- and solvent-free flow and leveling agent with excellent air release properties for various reactive resin systems. It modifies the surface tension, eliminating or reducing peeling, and improves flow, dispersion, and floating behavior. Additionally, it prevents air entrapment and optimizes substrate wetting in reactive resin systems.

Efka® SL 3236 functions as a slip and leveling agent, being an organically modified polysiloxane soluble in various solvents. It improves general surface characteristics and is recommended for non-aqueous coatings like baking enamels, acid-curable or polyurethane wood finishes.

Efka® SL 3258 is a solvent-free, 100% active, polyether-modified polysiloxane serving as a non-reactive slip modifier, leveling agent, and substrate wetting agent for printing inks, paints, and coatings. Its chemical nature involves an organo-modified polysiloxane. It is suitable for UV, solvent-borne, and water-borne applications, achieving excellent surface tension reduction in UV systems, leading to an improved gloss level.

Efka® SL 3033 is a highly effective additive that increases slip and surface smoothness. With excellent compatibility properties, it is suitable for use in clear coatings. It improves leveling, scratch and abrasion resistance, prevents floating, enhances anti-blocking characteristics, and prevents cratering.

Efka® SL 3883 is a reactive slip and leveling agent. It offers improved slip, surface smoothness, increased anti-blocking effect, good substrate wetting, and even distribution of matting agents. The chemical nature involves a polysiloxane-modified polymer with unsaturated terminal groups. Reactive groups crosslink with coating and printing ink systems cured by photo initiators or peroxides. It finds applications in various coatings, especially wood and plastic coatings and paper finishes, cured by vinyl polymerization.

Efka® FL 3778 is a multifunctional product known for its diverse capabilities in various applications. Classified within the chemical family of acrylics and acrylates, this formulation serves as a wetting agent, surface modifier, slip agent, leveling agent, dispersant, and defoamer. Its features include excellent mineral filler loading capability, slip properties, exceptional wetting behavior, and outstanding flow properties. These characteristics make Efka® FL 3778 a versatile and effective solution in applications where these attributes are critical for performance.

Hydropalat® WE 3485 is a liquid solution meticulously crafted for varnishes. As part of the anionic chemical family, it guarantees compatibility with cellulose and cellulosics. AFCONA 3230 is an additive designed to offer excellent slip without stabilizing foam in polyurethane coatings. Most polysiloxane additives that provide good transparency also stabilize foam, and those that don't stabilize foam often adversely affect the transparency of the coating. AFCONA 3230 is specifically formulated for polyurethane systems where excellent slip is required but foam stabilization is not desired.

AFCONA 3250 is an additive designed to provide the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 3034 is an additive designed to reduce surface tension, improve substrate wetting, and provide anti-crater performance and leveling, including vertical leveling. Its fluorocarbon modification gives it a very low surface tension, further enhancing its performance in anti-crater properties, substrate wetting, and leveling.

AFCONA 3233 is a slip and leveling additive for solvent- and water-based systems. It is recommended as a slip and leveling agent for all solvent-based coatings to prevent Bénard Cells, provide leveling, and prevent craters. AFCONA 3233 can be used as leveling and anti-crater agent in both water- and solvent- based applications. However, this product may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

AFCONA 3239 is an additive designed as a slip and leveling agent that also offers defoaming. It is a very suitable leveling agent for epoxies, and will not stabilize foam, but instead act as an effective defoamer in such systems.

AFCONA 3670 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 3670 is an improved version of AFCONA 3777 on managing surface control of coatings. It has lower surface tension than AFCONA 3777. The combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance is highly recommended.

AFCONA 3580 is a silicone-based leveling and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings that does not influence intercoat adhesion. AFCONA 3580 is an organically modified polysiloxane with very short chain repeatable units of siloxane. These small molecules allow it to move very quickly to an area of defects. This offers very good anti-crater properties without causing intercoat adhesion problems.

AFCONA 3570 is a leveling and anti-crater agent for aqueous coatings with a low foam stabilizing effect. It is a fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic, neutralized with a suitable amine, and dissolved in water. It is suitable for all water-based paints and is recommended for use in all kinds of water-based coatings with a pH value of 8.0 or higher.

AFCONA 3033 is an additive designed to improve the slip and leveling performance of solvent-based coatings. It is an end-modified special polysiloxane, which enhances the dry slip characteristics of coatings, making it particularly suitable for wood coatings and thermoplastic resins.

AFCONA 3031 is a polyether modified polysiloxane slip and leveling additive used primarily in metal and UV coatings. It provides a very good slip performance, which is characterized by an "oily" or "wet look" appearance that can visually enhance film thickness. AFCONA 3031 is used in metal coatings, such as industrial heat-cured systems, car refinish polyurethane clear topcoats, and other vehicle paint.

AFCONA 3236 is an additive designed to provide slip and leveling, as well as good defoaming performance. It is an alkyl-modified polysiloxane that offers excellent slip and leveling properties. Unlike other organically modified polysiloxanes, AFCONA 3236 acts as a defoamer and does not stabilize foam in most systems, making it suitable for foam-sensitive applications such as floor coatings and high-build systems.

AFCONA 3700 is a wetting, leveling and flow control agent for solvent-free and solvent-based coatings with excellent anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3700 is a highly fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic polymer. It has very low surface tension and therefore it can substitute and perform as silicones without the side effects of silicones.

AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.

AFCONA 3231 is a slip and leveling additive for metal and UV coatings that offers very good slip performance with an "oily" or "wet look" appearance to visually enhance film thickness. It is commonly used in industrial heat-cured systems, car refinish polyurethane clear topcoats, and other vehicle paint.

AFCONA 3238 is an additive designed as a slip and leveling agent that also offers defoaming. For matte finish coatings, the addition of AFCONA 3238 will help in the orientation of matting agents. In UV curing systems, this product further reduces gloss when added together with a matting agent.

AFCONA 3251 is an additive designed to offer the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. AFCONA 3251 is specially developed for solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. Its performance is similar to AFCONA 3250, only with better leveling.

S-400-Q is a micronized EBS (ethylene bissteramide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 108 – 146°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. CeraSPERSE 171 is a synthetic wax compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

S-395-SP5 is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 120°C, good crystallinity, and the high onset of melt. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. PEL-SIL™ CL290 is a organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. PEL-SIL™ CE 390 has recoatability and low tendency to foam. It is good compatibility with many resin systems. PEL-SIL™ CL290 is an excellent silicone-based additive for improving slip and mar resistance and reducing friction coefficient for solvent-borne, water-borne, and UV/EB cured coating systems. It can be used for coatings in industrial and auto, wood, and overprint vanishes and inks.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity. SST®-2 is a white low MW PTFE micropowder with particle size distribution at a mean value of 8 µm. SST®-2 products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to produce slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

HydroCER 584 is a 35% aqueous dispersion of high molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.
