Dispex® Ultra FA 4416 is an outstanding wetting and dispersing agent for aqueous coatings, providing high gloss, excellent color strength, and excellent rub-out properties. Presented in yellow, viscous liquid form, Dispex® Ultra FA 4416 is ideal for aqueous top coats based on various binder types such as polyester solutions, polyacrylics, and PUR-emulsions.

Dispex® Ultra PX 4275 is a polymeric wetting and dispersing agent for high-quality aqueous coatings and pigment pastes. Recommended for highly loaded pigment pastes, it exhibits outstanding flow properties and a low foaming tendency. It is in clear, light yellow to amber liquid form, Dispex® Ultra PX 4275 is an effective wetting and dispersing agent.

Dispex® Ultra FA 4404 is a partially neutralized chelating agent suitable for use in the manufacture of pigment suspensions, emulsion paints, slurries, etc. It combines the properties of a chelating agent and polyphosphate with those of an organic dispersant, yielding highly concentrated, stable, and low-viscosity inorganic pigment suspensions. Dispex® Ultra FA 4404 is presented in a clear, light-yellow liquid form and can be combined with Dispex® Ultra FA 4480 to achieve stable inorganic pigment pastes.

Tinuvin® 479-DW (N) is an aqueous triazine-based UV absorber dispersion designed for applications in coatings, overprint varnishes, adhesives, and sealants. Its function primarily lies in UV absorption. This dispersion appears as a slightly yellowish liquid. Its end uses encompass 2K (2-component) coatings, radiation-curable coatings, varnishes, and waterborne coatings. Notable features include thermal resistance, non-migrating properties, high performance, and excellent photopermanence.

Tinuvin® 5248 is a liquid light stabilizer blend incorporating a triazine-based UV absorber and a basic hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS) for coatings, adhesives, and sealants. Formulated to address the high performance and durability needs of exterior solvent-based automotive, industrial, architectural, and decorative coatings, including energy-curable systems (UV, electron beam). Key features and benefits include high thermal stability and photo permanence, containing a basic multipurpose HALS, a UV absorber insensitive to metal ions and amines, preventing the formation of colored complexes, and a synergistic combination providing superior coating protection against gloss reduction, cracking, blistering, delamination, or color change, ensuring comprehensive substrate protection.

Tinuvin® 5100 is a liquid, non-basic aminoether (NOR) hindered amine light stabilizer (HALS), meticulously developed to impart high durability to exterior industrial and decorative coatings. Tailored for coatings requiring a low-basicity, non-interacting, and high-value stabilizer, Tinuvin® 5100 is designed based on amino-ether functionality. Its low basicity minimizes interactions with acidic paint components, such as curing catalysts. The high efficiency of Tinuvin® 5100 significantly enhances coating performance by reducing paint degradation that leads to issues like cracking, gloss reduction in clear coats, and chalking and fading in pigmented paints. Key features and benefits include being a liquid amino-ether (non-interacting) HALS, minimizing interaction with acidic materials like acid catalysts and acidic pigments, and improving coating resistance to cracking and loss of gloss by scavenging free radicals.

FoamStar® ST 2454 is a defoamer highly recommended for systems based on PU-emulsions, amine-neutralized resins, and aqueous 2-pack PU coatings. It is especially efficient in PU emulsions, hybrid systems, and PE solutions, typically without causing a reduction of gloss or transparency. It can be used in clear and top coats.

HALOX® 570 is an organic corrosion inhibitor designed for use in waterborne industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. HALOX® 570 is especially effective along weld seams and, in some cases, can also be used in solvent-based coatings and UV-cured systems. HALOX® 570 may be used in formulations based on waterborne acrylic latexes and co-polymers, styrene/acrylic latexes, acrylate epoxy esters, 2-pack epoxy systems, alkyds, alkyd/acrylic blends, and 1 or 2-pack polyurethane. HALOX® 570 may be used in both waterborne primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.

HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor, HALOX® 570, which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2-component epoxy, water-reducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in both water-based primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 LS has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.

Dragonsorb® 5151 is a mixture of benzotriazole UVA with HALS light stabilizer. This liquid light stabilizer blend is developed specifically for coatings. Its high thermal stability and permanence make it suitable for coatings exposed to high bake temperatures and/or extreme environmental conditions. Its broad UV absorbance allows effective protection of light-sensitive substrates such as wood and plastics.

AFCONA 5251 is a dispersant developed for dispersing and stabilizing transparent iron oxide pigments. AFCONA 5251 is a dispersant developed for dispersing and stabilizing transparent iron oxide pigments. It may also be used as a dispersant for other inorganic pigments and extenders, for which it reduces the viscosity in the dispersion. Therefore, it is very useful in highly filled systems.

Lo-Vel® 66 belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. It can be used in solvent- or water-based coatings, high-solids, 100%-solids, and 2K systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

Pangel B20 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for intermediate polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on aromatic and unsaturated polyester type solvents. It provides thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on aromatic and unsaturated polyester type solvents, Pangel B20 does not require the use of a polar activator for its dispersion.

Afcona - 6225 serves as a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants, functioning as a color acceptance additive.

Afcona - 5251 is a non-ionic dispersant formulated for the deflocculation of transparent iron oxides.

Tytan™ TIPT primarily serves as a catalyst for esterification, transesterification, and olefin polymerization processes. Additionally, it can be selectively employed as an adhesion promoter and cross-linking agent for hydroxylic compounds or in the formulation of heat and corrosion-resistant coatings. Notably, it offers higher efficiency in its various applications.

Pangel® B20 is a rheological additive derived from sepiolite (hydrated magnesium silicate), with its particle surface organically modified to ensure compatibility with medium and low polarity systems or solvents. It forms a three-dimensional network of particles, enhancing the viscosity and thixotropy of the end product. In epoxy coatings, Pangel® B20 offers the option for partial or complete substitution of fumed silicas and organophilic bentonites typically used as rheological additives, presenting additional cost-effective benefits in formulations.

Pangel® OM4 is a rheological additive designed for intermediate to low polarity systems, formulated with highly purified bentonite clay.
