AFCONA 3280 is a special modified polysiloxane that is soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones, but insoluble in water. It offers slip, defoaming, and improvement of surface characteristics without hurting intercoat adhesion. Additionally, it offers better hot water resistance than other polyether modified polysiloxanes.

AFCONA 4017 is a polymeric dispersant mainly used for co-grinding. AFCONA 2024 is a strong defoamer with leveling performance for all solvent-based coatings. It is a unique defoamer. It has very strong defoaming and anti-foam performances with additional good leveling. This is in contrary with most of the other defoamers, which influence the leveling performance negatively.

AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

AFCONA 4570 is a highly effective polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments, as well as carbon blacks. It exhibits excellent stability due to its steric hindrance and electron repulsion characteristics, making it suitable for use with all types of pigments. It is a high molecular weight dispersant, promoting good color acceptance and resin-free pigment concentrate preparation. This modified polyacrylate polymer is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications.

AFCONA 4530 is a high molecular weight, ph-independent polymeric dispersant for deflocculation of pigments in water-based decorative as well as industrial paints. It is a polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments in water-based systems. Through effective steric hindrance and electrostatic repulsion an excellent stability performance on all type of pigments is given.

AFCONA 3034 is an additive designed to reduce surface tension, improve substrate wetting, and provide anti-crater performance and leveling, including vertical leveling. Its fluorocarbon modification gives it a very low surface tension, further enhancing its performance in anti-crater properties, substrate wetting, and leveling.

AFCONA 3030 is a slip and leveling additive for both solvent and water-based systems. It is a polyether-modified polysiloxane and is recommended as a slip and leveling agent to prevent Bénard Cells and provide leveling and prevent craters. It can be used in both water- and solvent-based applications, though it may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

AFCONA 3250 is an additive designed to provide the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 4080 is an effective polymeric dispersant used to stabilize inorganic and organic pigments, as well as carbon blacks. It has excellent stability performance due to steric hindrance, and is suitable for deflocculation of all types of pigments. It is a modified polyurethane polymer with a high molecular weight.

AFCONA 5065 is very effective, offering performance close to that of a high molecular weight dispersant. It is recommended for medium to high polarity systems, such as PU, UPE, UV, NC, heat-cured paints, and acid-cured systems. This product is also widely used in printing inks. However, it is not recommended for air-drying alkyds due to potential incompatibility with these systems.

AFCONA 3239 is an additive designed as a slip and leveling agent that also offers defoaming. It is a very suitable leveling agent for epoxies, and will not stabilize foam, but instead act as an effective defoamer in such systems.

AFCONA 2038 is a highly compatible defoamer that does not cause in-can haziness. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. This defoamer has excellent compatibility properties, making it especially suitable for use in clear coatings and high gloss coatings. AFCONA 2040 is a moderate defoamer with minimal side effects that prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers a combination of good defoaming and compatibility with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium-viscosity applications applied by spray and brush, and is particularly suitable for systems ranging from low polarity to high polarity. AFCONA 2035 is recommended for brush and conventional spray applications.

It is recommended for medium-viscosity applications applied by brush and conventional spray methods, and is suitable for systems ranging from low to high polarity.

AFCONA 3758 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3758 is a special modified polyacrylic polymer. It reduces drastically surface tension of organic coating systems. This, together with good compatibility in most solvent-based systems and with minimal foam stabilizing effect, makes it very effective as an anti-crater and flow control agent for all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 3236 is an additive designed to provide slip and leveling, as well as good defoaming performance. It is an alkyl-modified polysiloxane that offers excellent slip and leveling properties. Unlike other organically modified polysiloxanes, AFCONA 3236 acts as a defoamer and does not stabilize foam in most systems, making it suitable for foam-sensitive applications such as floor coatings and high-build systems.

AFCONA 3700 is a wetting, leveling and flow control agent for solvent-free and solvent-based coatings with excellent anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3700 is a highly fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic polymer. It has very low surface tension and therefore it can substitute and perform as silicones without the side effects of silicones.

AFCONA 4011 is a polymeric dispersant mainly for inorganic pigments and some organic pigments. It is an improved version of AFCONA 4010, offering a better balance between price and performance. Principally developed for stabilizing inorganic pigments such as TiO2, iron oxides and matting agents, AFCONA 4011 is compatible with almost all resin used in coatings and can be used in most solvent-based coating systems.
