Efka® SL 3883 is a reactive slip and leveling agent. It offers improved slip, surface smoothness, increased anti-blocking effect, good substrate wetting, and even distribution of matting agents. The chemical nature involves a polysiloxane-modified polymer with unsaturated terminal groups. Reactive groups crosslink with coating and printing ink systems cured by photo initiators or peroxides. It finds applications in various coatings, especially wood and plastic coatings and paper finishes, cured by vinyl polymerization.
