HALOX® 570 is an organic corrosion inhibitor designed for use in waterborne industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. HALOX® 570 is especially effective along weld seams and, in some cases, can also be used in solvent-based coatings and UV-cured systems. HALOX® 570 may be used in formulations based on waterborne acrylic latexes and co-polymers, styrene/acrylic latexes, acrylate epoxy esters, 2-pack epoxy systems, alkyds, alkyd/acrylic blends, and 1 or 2-pack polyurethane. HALOX® 570 may be used in both waterborne primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.

HALOX® 570 LS is a ready-to-use liquid version of our popular organic corrosion inhibitor, HALOX® 570, which requires no dilution. It is designed for use in water-based industrial and decorative coatings to provide flash rust and long-term corrosion protection on metal surfaces. It is especially effective along weld seams to prevent galvanic corrosion. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in formulations based on water-based acrylics, epoxy esters, 2-component epoxy, water-reducible alkyds, and water-based polyurethanes. HALOX® 570 LS may be used in both water-based primers and direct-to-metal topcoats. In direct-to-metal coatings, HALOX® 570 LS has a minimal effect on gloss reduction.

HALOX® 520 is a liquid organic corrosion inhibitor primarily designed for use in water-borne coating systems. It contains dual functionality as a corrosion inhibitor and an adhesion promoter. HALOX® 520 may be used in waterborne formulations such as 2 pack epoxy systems, 1 and 2 pack polyurethanes, acrylics (especially epoxy/amine-functionalized), and hybrid systems. It may also be used as a metal pretreatment additive.

HALOX® RC-980 is an organic additive designed to convert red rust to black iron oxide. It can be used in slightly acidic waterborne vinyl or PVDC binders applied to rusted steel substrates. It converts the rust within minutes of the coating application and forms a black iron oxide barrier that can be further top-coated with water or solvent-based paints. It does not contain tannic acid, oxime chelates, phosphates, or phosphoric acid.

LIOPUR PFL 3046 is an aqueous aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on an oleochemical polyester that is surfactant- and TEA-free. It does not need any co-solvents for film formation. Coatings based on this product form tack-free, transparent films with medium surface hardness after air drying with good flexibility. LIOPUR PFL 1908 is an aqueous, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on a polycarbonate solvent. After air-drying, film coatings based on Liopur PFL1908 and more than 15% butylglycole form transparent films that are tack-free and display good surface resistance, high flexibility, and elasticity. LIOPUR PFL 1908 is showing a good wet and dry appearance on wood. It has applications in industrial coatings, wood flooring, furniture coatings, wood coatings, and finishes.

LIOPUR PFL 2392 is an aqueous, aliphatic modified polyurethane dispersion based on polyester that is solvent- and triethylamin-free and free of surfactants. LIOPUR 2004-140 is a solvent-free, aqueous, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on a special polyester. It has good flow behavior and, as a result of its good adhesion combined with elasticity and flexibility, is highly suitable for coating wood. It has applications in furniture coatings, architectural coatings, crafts and hobby, industrial coatings, and other consumer applications.

LIOPUR PFL 2104 is an aqueous, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion based on polyester. After air-drying, film coatings based on LIOPUR PFL 2104 form transparent and flexible films that are nearly tack-free. Films based on LIOPUR PFL 2104 are distinguished by their high elasticity. This product belongs to the automotive and transportation paints and coatings market. It has applications in automotive OEM coatings and industrial coatings.

ASCONIUM® 140 can replace mineral anti-corrosion pigments or improve their performance in waterborne or solventborne metal coatings. It is a hydrophobic agent that improves the water resistance of dry films.
