AFCONA 3755 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with very effective defoaming properties. LIOCRYL AS 615 is an aqueous styrene acrylic emulsion. It is a styrene acrylic emulsion for use in primers and top coats for metal and other substrates. SYNTHALAT A 045 is an acrylic resin cross-linked with polyisocyanate. It is primarily used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and stove-drying coatings for metals and plastics. SYNTHALAT A 065 is an acrylic resin cross-linked with polyisocyanate. Primarily used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and stove-drying coatings for metals, woods, and plastics. These types of 2 components are preferably used in fields where high coating qualities are required but where stoving is impossible due to the size or heat-sensitivity of the object to be coated. Its applications lie in numerous fields, like furniture, marine transportation, wood flooring, industrial maintenance, and marine coatings.

SYNTHALAT A 085 is an acrylic resin cross-linked with polyisocyanate. It is used in combination with aliphatic polyisocyanates for air- and stove-drying two-component coatings. It offers good mechanical properties and resistance to chemicals. It has applications in automotive OEM coatings, primers and lacquers, and also in marine transportation.

SYNTHOLUX 197 PE is an aadiation-curing, low-viscosity polyester acrylate resin that is solvent-free. It is used in UV- and electron beam-curing primers and top coats for wood, paper, plastics, and printing inks. It has applications in construction adhesives, industrial adhesives and sealants, wood coatings, and finishes.

Lo-Vel® 275 belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. AFCONA 2020 is a very strong defoamer suitable for most solvent-based coatings, printing inks, and thermosetting resin systems. It eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of the source of the air bubbles. However, it is not suitable for transparent, high-gloss clear topcoats.

Nicron® 504 is a high-purity microcrystalline talc. The platy nature of Nicron® 504 enhances film strength and flexibility and provides barrier properties in architectural and industrial primers and topcoats to improve corrosion resistance and stain-blocking ability. Nicron® 504 is also used in paints to improve sag resistance and maximize prime pigment extension.

AFCONA 2038 is a highly compatible defoamer that does not cause in-can haziness. It prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes. This defoamer has excellent compatibility properties, making it especially suitable for use in clear coatings and high gloss coatings. Additionally, it is suitable for use in applications where dry film transparency is essential, such as when applying thick clear coatings by conventional spraying.

AFCONA 2018 is a silicone-free defoamer that is recommended for systems where in-can transparency is important. It prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as stirring or pumping, and functions well during the application of paints and lacquers. AFCONA 2018 is well-suited for solvent-based wood finishes where foaming is a problem when applied by spraying.

Mistron® 554 is an off-white, high-purity, platy-fine talc. Its platy nature improves barrier properties, corrosion resistance, and stain blocking ability in architectural and industrial primers. Mistron® 554 is also used in topcoats to reduce hard settling, improve sag resistance, and extend prime pigments.

AFCONA 2040 is a moderate defoamer with minimal side effects that prevents the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers a combination of good defoaming and compatibility with most resin systems. It is recommended for medium-viscosity applications applied by spray and brush, and is particularly suitable for systems ranging from low polarity to high polarity. AFCONA 2035 is recommended for brush and conventional spray applications.

AFCONA 3758 is a leveling and flow control agent for solvent-based coatings with anti-crater properties. AFCONA 3758 is a special modified polyacrylic polymer. It reduces drastically surface tension of organic coating systems. This, together with good compatibility in most solvent-based systems and with minimal foam stabilizing effect, makes it very effective as an anti-crater and flow control agent for all solvent-based coatings.

Minex® ST 4 A100-10 is a functional filler that is produced from nepheline syenite, a naturally occurring, silica-deficient sodium-potassium alumina silicate. Automated scanning electron microscopy confirms that Minex® ST grades contain less than one-tenth of one percent crystalline silica. No free crystalline silica is detectable in the mineral complex. All Minex® ST grades are processed and sized with rigid adherence to Covia’s QIPSM quality assurance programs.

Crestakyd® 10-1022 is a fast drying alkyd that has excellent brushability and flow characteristics, as well as good gloss retention and weathering resistance. This long oil air drying alkyd can be used for economical decorative and do-it-yourself paints, including primers, topcoats, and varnishes.

Crestakyd® 41-6010 is a universally employed resin in primers, enamels and hammer finishes. It is suitable for air dry, low bake and general purpose stoving industrial paints. The resin is compatible with urea and melamine formaldehyde resins and is therefore suitable for stoving finishes.
