This resin offers extreme low temperature (-40 C) ductility in combination with medium flow characteristics, improved release and excellent processability with opportunities for shorter IM cycle times compared to standard PC. LEXAN™ EXL1494T resin is available in transparent and opaque colors and is an excellent candidate for a broad range of food contact applications. This injection moldable grade was designed to withstand extended duty high heat autoclave sterilization >2500 cycles and exhibits good chemical resistance to lipids and typical hospital cleansers. In additional, this grade is US FDA Food Contact approved, biocompatible (ISO10993 or USP Class VI), RoHS compliant, and it is subject to SABIC’s Healthcare management of change and formulation lock. NORYL HNA055 resin may be an excellent candidate for applications requiring extended duty sterilization cycles such as sterilization trays, dental trays, surgical instrument handles, and animal cages. This injection moldable grade is heat stabilized and impact modified and was designed to withstand high heat autoclave sterilization <350 cycles. In addition, this grade is US FDA and European Food Contact approved, biocompatible (ISO10993 or USP Class VI), RoHS compliant, and it is subject to SABIC’s Healthcare management of change and formulation lock. NORYL HNA033 resin may be an excellent candidate for applications requiring multiple sterilization cycles such as disposable dental xray mouth guards and surgical stapler components. SABIC's Specialties Business CYCOLOY™ FR Resin CX2244ME is a polycarbonate/acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC/ABS) blend that is injection moldable, high flow, and non-chlorinated/brominated flame retardant grade. It has a UL94 V0 at 0.75 mm and a 5VB at 1.5 mm flame rating. This grade offers improved chemical resistance compared to standard PC/ABS blends and is a good choice for thin-wall applications and hospital/medical equipment.
