Pepper II perennial ryegrass was selected with salt tolerance in mind, and one of the most effcient ways to improve the health of the turfgrass in salinity stress situations is to select and use salt tolerant varieties like Pepper II. First year NTEP results show that Pepper II has excellent salt tolerance, dark color, winter color and Spring green up. Pepper II is a genetically dark variety with excellent wear tolerance. Barley (Conlon) is aSpecialty two-row malting barley. This early maturing barley has plump kernels, and is medium yielding with moderate lodging. Released by North Dakota AES in 1996. Sow at 85 lb./acre or 2 lb./1,000 sq.ft. Plant in spring or summer.

Trudan Headless is an exceptional hybrid sudan grass for most summer forage needs. It is best positioned and used for hay, haylage and grazing. Other limited uses include green chop and as cover. Trudan Headless is finer stemmed and leafier than Sordan Headless. Regrowth is fast after cutting or grazing. It adapts well to and can tolerate high cutting frequencies and intensive grazing practices with proper management. Exceptional forage quality can be produced that is high in protein and TDN (total digestible nutrients). Prussic acid potential is low.
