"Kaesler Nutrition currently has around 160 employees at its headquarters in Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony. Our branch in China is an important base for strengthening local business relationships with Kaesler partners. Kaesler Nutrition is a company with a long tradition in agriculture. Because as early as 1932, Heinz Lohmann and Paul Wesjohann started an agricultural trading company. At that time, Heinz Lohmann founded the German fish meal factory in Cuxhaven, which was later to be a cornerstone of the later group of companies. At the same time, Paul Wesjohann started trading in hatching eggs. In 1967 Lohmann Tiernahrung (LTE) was founded. A year later, the animal health division was added to the portfolio. Lohmann Animal Health was formed in 1996 as a merger of LTE and the veterinary division of the pharmaceutical company TAD. In October 2014, Lohmann returned to its origins and since then has focused on the core competencies in animal nutrition in the agricultural sector and founded the new and independent Lohmann Animal Nutrition GmbH."
