Compared to DeCAL 2045, dosages can be reduced by up to 40% while still maintaining performance. It is recommended for reactive pigment grades and is ideally suited for systems where improvements in water resistance, wet scrub resistance, and blocking resistance are required.

AFCONA 4009 is a polymeric dispersant that is primarily used for stabilizing inorganic and select organic pigments. It is compatible with a wide range of coating chemistries, including long, medium and short oil alkyds, NC, polyurethanes, certain thermoplastic acrylics, epoxy and all resins for heat-cured paint. It is a modified polyurethane polymer that helps to deflocculate pigments.

AFCONA 5065 is very effective, offering performance close to that of a high molecular weight dispersant. It is recommended for medium to high polarity systems, such as PU, UPE, UV, NC, heat-cured paints, and acid-cured systems. This product is also widely used in printing inks. However, it is not recommended for air-drying alkyds due to potential incompatibility with these systems.

AFCONA 5010 is tailor made as an effective dispersant for TiO2 and extenders. It helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments making it an effective dispersant for TiO2. However, if a white base will be tinted with other colors later, AFCONA 4010 would be a better choice.
