FluoroSLIP® 533 is a blend of hydrophilic synthetic wax and PTFE where the synthetic wax shows a uniform melting range peaking at 97°C.

AquaFLON® 50-RC is an aqueous dispersion of submicron polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and is produced to be in compliance with REACH regulatory requirements. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

FluoroSLIP® 893-A is a stir-in powder blend of spherical micronized polyethylene (PE) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).

PEL-PHOS™ CD260 is a dispersant, lubricant, anti-wear additive, corrosion inhibitor, wetting agent, emulsifier, detergent. It is both biodegradable and a non-ecotoxic surfactant. PEL-PHOS™ CD260 can also be used as co-emulsifier for emulsion polymerization.

PEL-SIL™ CX740 is an epoxy functionalized siloxane polyether. With its silicone and organic combination and dual reactive hydroxyl and epoxy functionality, PEL-SIL™ CX740 offers the unique capability to modify epoxy and polyurethane systems. It can impart surface and bulk properties, such as gloss, slip, hydrophobicity, flexability and durability. Due to its low viscosity, PEL-SIL™ CX740 enhances the process for better mixing and flow for compounds and composites.

SST®-4P is an off-white to light gray low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 3 µm.

S-379-N8 is a synthetic wax with a DSC peak melt above 100°C and corresponding low onset of melting. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provide rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

HydroCER 7410 is a 45% aqueous dispersion of medium molecular weight polyethylene wax. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

SST®-2D is a white low MW PTFE powder with a particle size mean value of 7 µm. SST®-2D has a tightly controlled particle size distribution, resulting in fewer oversized particles. SST® products are Shamrock’s PTFE micropowders that are defined by particle size and distribution, molecular weight, crystallinity, surface area, oil adsorption, powder flow, and color. Made primarily from highly controlled recycled PTFE feedstocks, SST® products are used for their ability to provide slip, nonstick, water repellency, texture, release, rub, and abrasion resistance to surfaces.

S-NAUBA 5021 is a concentrated blend of carnauba and synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

Hydrocer 7112 is a stable, aqueous synthetic wax dispersion. Keep the lid tight on the container to avoid separation. If this product has separated, simple mixing with paddle or propeller mixer is all that will be required. The Hydrocer products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

AquaFLON® 60 is a self-stable 60% Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dispersion in water. The AquaFLON® product line is comprised of aqueous dispersions of PTFE or PTFE with wax. These products are designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water-based systems. They are used as additives to provide slip and abrasion resistance.

CeraSPERSE 174 is synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) compounded in refined linseed oil. Shamrock’s CeraSPERSE products are manufactured using a controlled crystallization process that allows the production of 1 micron wax dispersions. These wax compounds have a translucent appearance with a shiny gloss and a creamy feel. In addition to our standard products, Shamrock can develop and produce a wide range of compounds on a make-to-order basis.

PEL-SIL™ CL340 is a nonreactive, acetate capped, silicone glycol copolymer surfactant supplied at 100 percent active concentration. It provides slip, gloss enhancement, pigment treatment and leveling for ink and coatings applications. Additionally, it provides mar resistance for coatings applications such as glossy printed materials. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is compatible with acrylic, epoxy, nitrocellulose, phenolic, polyester & polyurethane systems. With a low order of toxicity, this product acts as an anti-stick agent in printing ink applications. It is particularly useful for facilitating the slip of magazine covers over one another during printing and distribution. It is also used as a solubility aid to compatibilize blowing agents with isocyanates in the production of polyurethane foams. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is stable in neutral or mildly acidic or alkaline aqueous solutions. It Imparts anti-blocking and improves mar resistance of PU coatings. PEL-SIL™ CL340 is an effective leveling agent for synthetic leather top coatings.

Super Taber 5509 SP5 is a combination of polytetrafluoroethylene and selected polyethylene waxes with a large average particle size for use in thick film applications.

PEL-SIL™ CL290 is a organo-modified silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) and polypropylene oxide (PO) side chains. PEL-SIL™ CE 390 has recoatability and low tendency to foam. It is good compatibility with many resin systems. PEL-SIL™ CL290 is an excellent silicone-based additive for improving slip and mar resistance and reducing friction coefficient for solvent-borne, water-borne, and UV/EB cured coating systems. It can be used for coatings in industrial and auto, wood, and overprint vanishes and inks.

FluoroSLIP® 731 MG is a combination of a high melting synthetic wax, carnauba wax, and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) where the wax blend shows a melting peaks ranging from 84 – 110°C.

S-483 is a spherical synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C. It has good onset of melting and low crystallinity. EBECRYL® 350, developed by CASE Ingredients, is a versatile radiation-curable liquid designed for the automotive and transportation, industrial, and paints and coatings markets. With labeling claims including bisphenol A-free, low-carbon footprint (PCF), solvent-free, and VOC-free, it meets stringent environmental standards. This cloudy liquid offers a range of application methods, such as curtain coating, dip coating, gravure coating, roller coating, and slot-die. Compatible with various substrates, including metal, paper, plastics, and wood, EBECRYL® 350 provides a clear and durable finish, making it suitable for automotive OEM coatings, wood finishes, and various specialty coatings.

HydroCER 8481 is a stable, non-ionic aqueous synthetic wax emulsion. The HydroCER products are wax emulsions, dispersions, or a combination of these.

PEL-SIL™ CL330 is a silicone-based additive consisting of a siloxane backbone and polyethylene-oxide (EO) side chains. It is stable in neutral or mildly acid or alkaline aqueous solutions. The EO component gives PEL-SIL™ CL330 coatings additive its compatibility with water-borne systems. PEL-SIL™ CL330 has excellent wetting and recoatability. It can be used at low dosage levels. PEL-SIL™ CL330 can be recommended for use as a leveling and wetting agent in water-borne paints and coatings in automotive, transportation, construction and aerospace industries. It can also be used in solvent-based and high solid/UV curable coatings as leveling agent. For polyurethane foam coatings, PEL-SIL™ CL330 acts a surfactant and foam cell stabilizer. It is not compatible on the isocyanate side and must be added with the polyol. It exhibits excellent compatibility with most polyol premixes.

S-400-Q is a micronized EBS (ethylene bissteramide) wax powder showing melting peaks ranging from 108 – 146°C. Shamrock’s product line of micronized waxes provides rub and abrasion resistance. Included in this line are products that provide gloss, matting, clarity, and controlled slip in a range of particle sizes.

PEL-SIL™ CL320 is a low HLB silicone surfactant and a leveling & gloss agent. It is used as an additive for polyurethane coating resin systems. PEL-SIL™ 9107 will react into PU coatings to give silicone properties to the surface because it is hydroxyl functional. It is useful for imparting silicone characteristics into synthetic leather top coat formulations.

Slippery Agent

These PTFE powders are Natural Prime PTFE micronized to various particle sizes and are FDA compliant for applications requiring food contact. MicroFLON 1433FG is designed for food contact applications. These applications include: food processing, machine parts, and medical devices.

PEL-SIL™ CL360 is an excellent flow and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings and inks. It can also be used as defoamer or anti-foaming agent for waterborne coatings systems. It can be used at low dosage levels. For polyurethane foam coatings, PEL-SIL™ CL360 acts a surfactant and foam cell stabilizer. It is not compatible on the isocyanate side and must be added with the polyol. It exhibits excellent compatibility with most polyol premixes.
