AFCONA 6225 is a dispersant and emulsifier for universal colorants, color acceptance additive. AFCONA 6225 is an updated version of AFCONA 6220. AFCONA 2045 is a silicone-based defoamer used to prevent the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application of solvent-based coatings, including polyurethane clear coats. Lo-Vel® 6000 is a synthetic, amorphous silicon dioxide flatting agent that is designed for use where a Hegman value of 5 to 6 is required. The combination of high flatting at low use levels and ease of incorporation delivers expanded formulation flexibility.

AFCONA 3251 is an additive designed to offer the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. AFCONA 3251 is specially developed for solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. Its performance is similar to AFCONA 3250, only with better leveling.

AFCONA 5585 is an effective dispersing agent for the preparation of solvent- and water-based pigment concentrates in industrial and architectural coatings. This is a high molecular weight dispersing agent which stabilizes pigments through steric hindrance, making it suitable for all types of pigments.

AFCONA 5010 is tailor made as an effective dispersant for TiO2 and extenders. It helps to wet and disperse inorganic pigments making it an effective dispersant for TiO2. However, if a white base will be tinted with other colors later, AFCONA 4010 would be a better choice.

AFCONA 2503 is a waterbased defoamer and anti-foam agent with leveling properties that is especially useful in high shear applications such as pigment concentrates. AFCONA 2503 is an organically modified polysiloxane which is designed to give good defoaming, anti-foam and leveling performance in all waterbased applications.

AFCONA 3277 is an anti-cratering, substrate wetting, and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is a fluorocarbon-modified polyacrylic, and can be used as a non-silicone leveling agent when silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend using a combination of AFCONA 3277 and a suitable Polysiloxane for better overall performance if silicones are permitted.
