AFCONA 2024 is a strong defoamer with leveling performance for all solvent-based coatings. It is a unique defoamer. It has very strong defoaming and anti-foam performances with additional good leveling. This is in contrary with most of the other defoamers, which influence the leveling performance negatively.

AFCONA 5009 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive that improves the wetting of pigment surfaces, reducing the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It is an economy grade of additive and stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

AFCONA 3038 was designed as an anti-blushing agent for thermoplastic systems, an anti-popping agent for all heat-cured paints, and a flow agent for solvent-based paints. It has a better resin solubility, which promotes better flow. This compensates for its lack of silicone. AFCONA 3038 is suitable for systems where silicone is not allowed or which use high curing temperatures, such as coil and can coatings.

AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

HIFILL® 17 is a calcium carbonate filler and reinforcer that is produced from a uniquely occurring, high-brightness calcite feedstock. HIFILL® grades have low oil absorption, which can help maximize loading levels in either water- or solvent-based systems with only a minimal impact on viscosity.

Lo-Vel® 2018 belongs to PPG's synthetic precipitated silica product line, which reduces the gloss of coatings, varnishes, and other finishes. It offers high flatting efficiency, compatibility with various coating systems, and ease of redispersion. This product line delivers a balance of clarity and flatting for overprint varnish and topcoats. It can be used in solvent- or water-based coatings, high-solids, 100%-solids, and 2K systems, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of applications.

AFCONA 2280 is a very effective defoamer and air-releaser for solvent-based and solvent-less systems. AFCONA 2280 is a silicone-based product developed to produce rapid de-aeration for pigmented and mat finish of wood coating in NC, AC and PU. For high gloss and transparent wood coatings, it may cause some in can haziness when the dosage is higher than 0.50% in PU and AC system.

Inhibisil® 73 anti-corrosion pigment is a calcium oxide-containing synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide. It is designed for use where thin film anti-corrosive protection is needed. Its high calcium oxide content, ease of dispersion, and high Hegman value provide formulation flexibility and expanded process capability.

AFCONA 2727 is a very effective defoamer and air-releaser for filled and unfilled epoxy, UPE, and polyurethane systems. It is a silicone-based product developed to aid in the rapid de-aeration of polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring or general industrial applications. This is the most effective defoamer for epoxy self- leveling systems.

AFCONA 4015 is a polymeric dispersant mainly for co-grinding. This product contains strong acid and amine functional groups in order to give a good cogrinding effect. Due to the strong acid and amine functional groups, it will only function very well in high polar systems like polyurethane, epoxy, NC and acid curing

AFCONA 3230 is an additive designed to offer excellent slip without stabilizing foam in polyurethane coatings. Most polysiloxane additives that provide good transparency also stabilize foam, and those that don't stabilize foam often adversely affect the transparency of the coating. AFCONA 3230 is specifically formulated for polyurethane systems where excellent slip is required but foam stabilization is not desired.

AFCONA 4570 is a highly effective polymeric dispersant for stabilizing inorganic and organic pigments, as well as carbon blacks. It exhibits excellent stability due to its steric hindrance and electron repulsion characteristics, making it suitable for use with all types of pigments. It is a high molecular weight dispersant, promoting good color acceptance and resin-free pigment concentrate preparation. This modified polyacrylate polymer is an ideal solution for a wide range of applications.

HIFILL® 2 is a ground calcium carbonate filler produced from a uniquely occurring, high-brightness calcite feedstock. HIFILL® grades have exceptional whiteness and are ideally suited for use in brightly colored, contractor-grade trade paints and masonry coatings. Its low oil absorption can help maximize loading levels in either water- or solvent-based systems with only a minimal impact on viscosity.

AFCONA 3037 is a specialized anti-blushing agent, anti-popping agent, and flow agent for use in various types of paints and thermoplastic systems. It contains a blend of high boiling point solvents and a polyether modified polysiloxane that helps promote paint leveling. It is especially well-suited for use as an anti-blushing aid in NC and TPA thermoplastic systems.

TYTAN™ AP20 is primarily designed to strongly increase adhesion of solvent based inks to a variety of plastics used for food packaging or other purposes, but also pigment distribution and heat sealing resistance are improved allowing perfect hiding power and appearance of printing on otherwise problematic substrates.

It is recommended as a slip and leveling agent for all solvent-based coatings to prevent Bénard Cells, provide leveling, and prevent craters. AFCONA 3233 can be used as leveling and anti-crater agent in both water- and solvent- based applications. However, this product may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

AFCONA 3835 is a reactive polyether modified polysiloxane with methacrylate functionality that can crosslink with UV / EB systems. It averages 7 functional groups per molecule. With this property, it offers permanent slip in coatings, giving anti-blocking and anti-scratch properties.

AFCONA 3034 is an additive designed to reduce surface tension, improve substrate wetting, and provide anti-crater performance and leveling, including vertical leveling. Its fluorocarbon modification gives it a very low surface tension, further enhancing its performance in anti-crater properties, substrate wetting, and leveling.

AFCONA 2763 is a moderate defoamer with fewer side effects than traditional products, preventing the formation of foam and blisters during manufacturing and application. It offers good defoaming while being compatible with most resin systems, and is recommended for medium viscosity applications applied by spray and brush.

AFCONA 3030 is a slip and leveling additive for both solvent and water-based systems. It is a polyether-modified polysiloxane and is recommended as a slip and leveling agent to prevent Bénard Cells and provide leveling and prevent craters. It can be used in both water- and solvent-based applications, though it may stabilize foam in water-based coatings.

AFCONA 3250 is an additive designed to provide the highest slip in all solvent-based coatings without stabilizing foam. It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

AFCONA 2028 is a moderate defoamer that is easy to incorporate. AFCONA 2028 prevents the formation of foam and blisters during the manufacturing and application of solvent-based wood finishes.AFCONA 2028 is particularly suitable as a defoamer for curtain coatings and may also be used during production. When foam causes a problem during packaging, AFCONA 2028 may be added slowly while stirring, which will speed up the bubble-breaking process. For this application, AFCONA 2028 is more user-friendly and easier to handle than AFCONA 2022 because it is less sensitive to crater formation and other well-known defoamer side effects.

HIFILL® Air Floated Clay Filler 15 is a calcium carbonate filler and reinforcer that is produced from a uniquely occurring, high-brightness calcite feedstock. HIFILL® grades have low oil absorption, which can help maximize loading levels in either water- or solvent-based systems with only a minimal impact on viscosity.

AFCONA 2020 is a very strong defoamer suitable for most solvent-based coatings, printing inks, and thermosetting resin systems. It eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of the source of the air bubbles. However, it is not suitable for transparent, high-gloss clear topcoats.

AFCONA 5065 is very effective, offering performance close to that of a high molecular weight dispersant. It is recommended for medium to high polarity systems, such as PU, UPE, UV, NC, heat-cured paints, and acid-cured systems. This product is also widely used in printing inks. However, it is not recommended for air-drying alkyds due to potential incompatibility with these systems.

AFCONA 3035 is an additive designed to improve leveling and prevent surface defects in UPE and epoxy systems. It has minimal slip effect and is compatible with high polarity systems. It can be used in both water- and solvent-based coatings, as well as to prevent curtain-rupture in curtain coating applications.
