It has lower surface tension than AFCONA 3777. The combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance is highly recommended.

AFCONA 2050 is a strong defoamer for most solvent-based coatings. AFCONA 2050 offers very strong defoaming and anti-foam performance with good compatibility in many resin systems. It is suitable for solvent-based coatings, printing inks and thermosetting resin systems. The product eliminates foam and blistering, regardless of whether the air bubbles are caused by the substrate.

AFCONA 2024 is a strong defoamer with leveling performance for all solvent-based coatings. It is a unique defoamer. It has very strong defoaming and anti-foam performances with additional good leveling. This is in contrary with most of the other defoamers, which influence the leveling performance negatively.

AFCONA 5009 is an anionic/cationic wetting and dispersing additive that improves the wetting of pigment surfaces, reducing the interfacial tension between pigments or extenders and the vehicle. It is an economy grade of additive and stabilizes the pigments through electrical charge repulsion forces.

AFCONA 3038 was designed as an anti-blushing agent for thermoplastic systems, an anti-popping agent for all heat-cured paints, and a flow agent for solvent-based paints. It has a better resin solubility, which promotes better flow. This compensates for its lack of silicone. AFCONA 3777 is an anti-crater, substrate wetting and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is the 1st generation of fluorocarbon modified polyacrylic. Recommended as non-silicone leveling agent where silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend a combination with a suitable polysiloxane for better overall performance.

AFCONA 2280 is a very effective defoamer and air-releaser for solvent-based and solvent-less systems. AFCONA 2280 is a silicone-based product developed to produce rapid de-aeration for pigmented and mat finish of wood coating in NC, AC and PU. For high gloss and transparent wood coatings, it may cause some in can haziness when the dosage is higher than 0.50% in PU and AC system.

AFCONA 4015 is a polymeric dispersant mainly for co-grinding. This product contains strong acid and amine functional groups in order to give a good cogrinding effect. Due to the strong acid and amine functional groups, it will only function very well in high polar systems like polyurethane, epoxy, NC and acid curing

Most polysiloxane additives that provide good transparency also stabilize foam, and those that don't stabilize foam often adversely affect the transparency of the coating. AFCONA 3037 is a specialized anti-blushing agent, anti-popping agent, and flow agent for use in various types of paints and thermoplastic systems. It contains a blend of high boiling point solvents and a polyether modified polysiloxane that helps promote paint leveling. It is especially well-suited for use as an anti-blushing aid in NC and TPA thermoplastic systems.

It is specially developed for all solvent-based systems where slip is the most important factor and foam stabilization is undesirable. AFCONA 3250 belongs to the same family as AFCONA 3230. But while AFCONA 3230 is effective only in polyurethane coatings, AFCONA 3250 works in all solvent-based coatings.

It is recommended for medium to high polarity systems, such as PU, UPE, UV, NC, heat-cured paints, and acid-cured systems. This product is also widely used in printing inks. However, it is not recommended for air-drying alkyds due to potential incompatibility with these systems.
