Minex® 14 belongs to the Minex® range of functional fillers and extenders, which are proven performance enhancers in a broad range of paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, and inks. With its use, excellent brightness, tint retention, and weatherability can be achieved in exterior paints. In interior paint formulations, it improves color, sheen uniformity, chemical and stain resistance, and durability. This product is easily dispersed in all conventional vehicle systems. Its low oil absorption permits high loadings in adhesives, sealants, and aqueous- and alkyd-based paints.

VANSIL® W-30 Wollastonite is a medium fineness (4 Hegman fineness) low aspect ratio grade of wollastonite that can be used as a general-purpose mineral filler in a wide range of liquid coatings and powder coatings. It is used as a TiO2 spacer and extender. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating.

DIXIE CLAY® Filler is an air-floated fine particle size kaolin clay that can be used as a reinforcing filler in all types of coatings, adhesives, elastomers and latexes.

VANSIL® WG Wollastonite is a high aspect ratio, long needle grade of wollastonite. It is used principally as a mineral filler and reinforcing agent to enhance mechanical strength properties in high build coatings, texture paint, and block fillers. In high film build coatings, the needle-like shape of VANSIL WG improves mud crack resistance and sag resistance, while also contributing to peak retention in texture coatings. The naturally high pH of wollastonite helps to buffer latex paints and coatings, which contributes to improved corrosion resistance and weathering. This also extends in-can stability and prolongs the lifetime of the coating. In calcium silicate board and fiber cement, VANSIL WG increases flexural and compressive strength, reduces shrinkage, and reduces cracking. It is recommended that high aspect ratio grades of VANSIL be added late in process to avoid possible damage to the needle structure from high shear mixing.

Sunspheres™ 200 Nm are optically clear, solid fused amorphous microspheres designed for use in a wide variety of coatings, inks, adhesives, powder coatings, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These sub-micron sized spheres can be used to improve physical and mechanical properties including reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, impact resistance, and enhanced surface qualities such as hardness, mar and scratch resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from about 50 nm to 500 nm.

Sunspacers™ 04.X are finely divided, optically clear, solid fused amorphous silica micronized powders. This product is specially engineered for paints, liquid and powder coatings, inks, adhesives, and thermoplastics, including UV curable compositions. These micronized powders increase corrosion resistance, reduce shrinkage, improve adhesion, and enhance surface qualities including abrasion, mar and scratch resistance. Sunspacers™ 04.X have a median particle size of approximately 3-4 microns, with a particle size range of 0.5 microns to 13 microns.

Cured films show enhanced physical and mechanical properties including increased corrosion resistance, reduced shrinkage, improved adhesion, and enhanced surface qualities such as mar and scratch resistance. This product is particularly useful in improving impact resistance. The average particle size is 200 nanometers and range in size from 50 to 500 nm.

Cimbar BF is a high purity, precipiated natural barium sulfate. Cimbar BF is recommended for use in coatings, especially automotive and industrial primers and topcoats. Additionally, Cimbar BF is often used in high gloss enamels, powder coatings and semi-gloss and gloss latexes.Cimbar BF can be used as a filler in plastics, cosmetics, batteries, and in pharamceutical applications. Cimbar BF is easily dispersable and is often used to impart higher surface gloss, improved hide, improved mar resistance and impact resistance.Cimbar BF also offers excellent sanding resistance, and good scrub resistance to formulations. Cimbar BF is chemically inert and is an excellent choice as a filler in corrosion resistant applications, flame retardant applications, and applications that require excellent weather resistance. Moreover, Cimbar BF exhibits superior thermal stabilty up to 1580 °C. It is therefore recommended for use in heat resistant applications.

SpaceRite S-11 is a fine crystalline, aluminum trihydroxide with uniform particles averaging 1/4 micron in diameter. It is an organic-free pure white powder produced by a proprietary precipitation process that closely controls particlesize distributions. SpaceRite S-11 can also replace other extenders providing enhanced performance and benefits in coatings and adhesives.

Ulmer Weiss WL is a fine calcium carbonate powder with a yellow index of 5.2 that is designed for use as a filler, pigment, or mixing agent in manufacturing processes. Common applications of this product include paper, paperboard, paints, varnishes, coatings, printing inks, mastics, soaps, detergents, rubber, and polishing mixtures. Ulmer Weiss WL is a solid powder in appearance with a characteristic odor.

AKTIFIT VM is a SILFIT Z 91 coated with vinyl functional silane.

SILLITIN Z 89 puriss is similar to Sillitin Z 86 puriss but has a higher color requirements.

Zetafil CST 3 is described on a very white, pure crystalline CaCO3. Zetafil CST 3 is coated by an organic agent which transforms the surface of the inorganic particles to an organic one, thus achieving full compatibility of the filler to an organic media. Due to its special particle size distribution, Zetafil CST3 is easily dispersed and can increase the % of fillers in the compound and coatings. Zetafil cst 3’s high brightness value assists the reduction of TiO2 in white compounds or coatings.

KAOPLATE™ 27 is water-washed, coarse kaolin clay is perfect for architectural coatings and e-coat primers. Its low oil absorption will allow for higher loadings in paints and coatings. KAOPRIMETM 27 is designed for use in water-based systems. Its large particle size, whiteness, and low oil absorption combine to make it a cost-effective filler.

SILFIT Z 91 is a Calcined product based on Sillitin Z 86.

It is stable and hard to sedimentate in electrophoresis tank.With low impurity and good inertia, it can improve paint film's stability against corrosion and moisture-proof property. The particle has micro platy shape.The series has advantages of low oil absorbency and easy dispersion.

Micronized Products Mica 40# range of products are obtained as a co-product from the pegmatite ore at our mining operation situated in the Limpopo Province in South Africa. After separation the Mica is delaminated, screened, milled and classified to specific size specifications.

SILLITIN V 88 is similar to Sillitin V 85 but has a but with higher color neutrality than Sillitin V 85.

SILLITIN Z 89 similar to Sillitin Z 86 but has a higher color requirements.

AKTISIL VM 56/89 is a SILLITIN Z 89 coated with Vinyl silane.

AKTISIL MAM is similar to SILLITIN V 88 coated with amino functional silane.
