AFCONA 3236 is an additive designed to provide slip and leveling, as well as good defoaming performance. It is an alkyl-modified polysiloxane that offers excellent slip and leveling properties. Unlike other organically modified polysiloxanes, AFCONA 3236 acts as a defoamer and does not stabilize foam in most systems, making it suitable for foam-sensitive applications such as floor coatings and high-build systems.

AFCONA 2290 provides anti-foam and de-aeration properties for solvent-containing and solvent-free systems of epoxy, polyurethane, UPE and UV coatings. AFCONA 2290 contains a non-silicone defoaming substance which offers very good performance in both defoaming and anti-foaming. Due to its strong defoaming properties and silicone-free composition, it is also very suitable for primer coatings.

AFCONA 2725 is a defoamer and air-releaser for solvent-free epoxy, UPE, PMMA, and polyurethane systems. It was specifically developed to quickly de-aerate solvent-free polyurethane and epoxy compounds used in flooring applications, as well as to provide effective defoaming in UPE systems.

AFCONA 3277 is an anti-cratering, substrate wetting, and leveling agent for solvent-based coatings. It is a fluorocarbon-modified polyacrylic, and can be used as a non-silicone leveling agent when silicone is not permitted due to intercoat adhesion problems. However, we highly recommend using a combination of AFCONA 3277 and a suitable Polysiloxane for better overall performance if silicones are permitted.

ADDITOL® VXW 6235 is a foam retardant specifically designed for powder coating materials destined for aqueous systems. Ideal for applications in emulsion paints, two-component epoxy systems, plasterwork, filling compounds, sealants, flooring compounds, and adhesives, this additive plays a crucial role in preventing excessive foam formation.

ADDITOL® VXW 6210 N is a silicone-modified defoamer designed for emulsion paints, alkyd resin emulsion paints, and waterborne two-component epoxy paints. This highly effective defoamer exhibits excellent emulsification in water, ensuring easy incorporation into various waterborne paint systems. Specifically recommended for low and medium-viscosity paints, including gloss and silky gloss emulsion paints, as well as coatings for parquet floors and furniture based on acrylate and acrylate/polyurethane emulsions.

ADDITOL® XW 390 serves as a silicone-free flow and wetting agent designed for waterborne coating systems. It effectively prevents flow defects in various waterborne coatings and enhances substrate wetting. This APEO-free, formaldehyde-free, and tin-free formulation is compatible with epoxies (EP). Noteworthy features include improved edge coverage, long wave reduction, wet-on-wet properties, short wave reduction, and low migration. Widely applicable, it finds use in enamel, waterborne coating, and epoxy coating applications.

ADDITOL® XW 6544, tailored for waterborne coating and epoxy coating applications, is a remarkable solution for the automotive and transportation sectors. This product proudly claims to be APEO-free and VOC-free, adhering to strict environmental standards. With features such as high film thickness, a high popping limit, and improved degassing, ADDITOL® XW 6544 ensures outstanding performance and quality in coatings. Compatible with Epoxies (EP), this product finds applications in various formulations, including automotive OEM coatings, marine coatings, and vehicle refinish.

Defoamer for water-based coating systems, VOC- and silicone free. SCHWEGO foam 8325 can be used in emulsion paints, water-based coatings, silicate paints, adhesives and plasters.

ADD-2020 is a silicone-free defoamer for solvent-based coatings, solvent-based printing inks and composite to prevent foam formation during production, filling and application. ADD-2020 displays spontaneous defoaming properties and demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. Due to its strong incompatibility (better defoaming properties), the influence upon the transparency of clear systems and upon cratering must be evaluated. When used in the ink industry, it reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process.

Bernd Schwegmann BLISTER FREE 3 is a defoamer and deaerator for solvent borne and water-based coating systems, silicone-free. BLISTER FREE 3 can be used in solvent borne and water-based systems. In solvent borne systems BLISTER FREE 3 is particularly effective as deaerating and partially also as leveling additive. BLISTER FREE 3 is especially suitable for systems based on:Alkyd, Alkyd/polyester, Unsaturated polyester, PU, Acrylates. BLISTER FREE 3 is also very effective in water-based coating systems, particulary if they are based on:Alkyd/acrylics, Saturated polyesters, Epoxy systems.

SCHWEGO fluor 6543 is suitable for solvent borne and water-based coating systems. Defoamer for water-based and solvent borne coating systems, silicone free. SCHWEGO foam 6375 shows good defoaming action in solvent borne coating systems: NC-systems and NC-combinations, AC- and epoxy-systems, PU and air drying acrylic systems, SCHWEGO foam 6375 has very good defoaming effect in water-based coating systems based on the following binders: Long oil alkyds, Medium oil alkyds, Acrylate/medium oil alkyds, Acrylate/long oil alkyds, Epoxides.

Defoamer for solvent borne coating systems, biodegradable. MITTEL S is suitable for nearly all solvent-based systems. MITTEL S is very efficient in alkyd (air drying), alkyd/polyester (heat stoving), chlorinated rubbers, epoxide, polyurethane, thermoplastic acrylic and reactive acrylics systems.

ADD-3777 is a silicone-free additive having high molecular weight and very broad compatibility. It is designed to reduce the surface tension of various resin systems at substrate interface, which will improve substrate wetting and leveling and prevent formation of craters without stabilizing foam. The additive provides “long wave” leveling performance and increases gloss of the coating system and does not cause any inter-coat adhesion problems. It is highly effective in the transportation coatings when combined with the silicone-based additive ADD-3031. ADD-3777 is suitable for coatings and printing inks.

Deaerating additive for solvent borne, water-based and solvent free coating systems, silicone free. SCHWEGO foam 6351 is suitable for almost all solvent-based and solvent free coating systems. It is particularly effective in hammer tone finishes and structural coatings, reactive thick film systems, heavily pigmented coating systems and formulations, suitable for airless spraying. SCHWEGO foam 6351 is also effective in aqueous industrial finishes (alkyd/melamine systems).

Defoamer and deaerator for water-based coating systems, silicone free. BLISTER FREE 55 has an excellent defoaming effect in all types of water-based alkyd systems, for instance in alkyd emulsions with and without co-solvents. There are also very good defoaming effects in modified alkyds and alkyd/acrylic hybrids.

SCHWEGO fluor 6523 is suitable for solvent borne and water-based coating systems. ADD-2720 is a silicone-free anti-foam that supports the quick de-aeration of thermosetting resin systems so that foam and blister-free self leveling compounds and laminates can be processed. ADD-2720 demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. Additionally, it acts as an air release and leveling additive. It is designed for use in coatings, printing inks and composite. If used in conjunction with ADD-5044 or ADD-5066 in pigmented compounds, lower viscosity results can be achieved, thereby aiding the air release properties.

BLISTER FREE 75 shows very good defoaming properties in solvent borne: NC-systems and NC-combinations, AC- and epoxy-systems, PU and air drying acrylic systems, BLISTER FREE 75 has very good defoaming effect in water-based coating systems based on the following binders: Long oil alkyds, Medium oil alkyds, Acrylate/medium oil alkyds, Acrylate/long oil alkyds, Epoxides.

Defoamer for water-based coating systems, silicone free. SCHWEGO foam 8013 is a highly effective defoamer suitable for water- based systems and adhesives especially for those based on polyurethane and acrylate.

Defoamer for water-based and solvent borne coating systems, VOC-free. Solvent borne and water-based coating systems, especially suitable in polyester systems.

Highliy effective defoamer solvent borne coating systems, silicone free, biodegradable. BLISTER FREE 77 is especially suitable in polyester systems with and without paraffins and alkyd/polyester systems. BLISTER FREE 77 is suitable in epoxy, PUR- and acrylate systems but not siutable for water-based polyester coatings.

NOFO 1032 is a blend of silicone and organic acid esters. Designed for use in most nonaqueous based coating systems, adhesives and inks. Allows for air release of high build epoxy, urethane, and various casting resins.

ADD-2022 is a silicone-based defoamer for solvent-based and solvent-free coating systems to prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. ADD-2022 can be used in coatings and printing inks.

ADD-2040 is a silicone defoamer for high gloss solvent-based systems to prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. ADD-2040 is highly efficient and offers optimum defoaming while utilizing only minimal quantities of incompatible substances. It is extremely suitable for brush, roller and airless spray applications where the solvents evaporate quickly and rapid defoaming is required. ADD-2040 is suitable for coatings and printing inks.

Defoamer for water-based and UV-curing coatings, free of silicone. SCHWEGO foam 6360 shows excellent defoaming action in UV coatings and is also suitable for coatings based on alkyd, polyester, epoxy, PU and acrylate.

Main application field of SCHWEGO foam 6305 are coating systems with low pigment content and clear coats.
