It does not detract from gloss, is easy to use, and can be incorporated at any stage of coating manufacture. Additionally, it can be post-added to any coating system with ease. However, it is important to check compatibility before use, as with any additive.

raybo 85 Rustib is a cationic wetting agent. Because of its polarity, it is attracted to the metal surface forming a mono-molecular hydrophobic layer. This affinity increases adhesion and resistance to corrosion undercutting in coatings containing RAYBO 85. When added to coatings pigmented with transition metals containing pigments like phthalocyanine blue, insure that the surfactant demand has been met. If it has not, RAYBO 85 will be absorbed onto the pigment, reducing corrosion protection.
