MEDOL-10 has a novel unique structure. It was developed for replacement of THFA, tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate. MEDOL-10 only has exclamation pictogram on REACH. Its viscosity is low enough for many applications like UV inkjet ink. Some of paper said high polarity pendant group induces high curing speed [1]. Dioxolane structure induces high solvency as same as THFA because both THF and dioxolane are good solvent.

Our LA is a single component C12, however, our competitors’ lauryl (meth)acrylate include not only C12 lauryl, but also C14 myristyl because of its alcohol nature. Recently high purity LA is investigated for polymer brush made by ATRP (Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization) with Stearyl acrylate [2], or fabrication of ultrahydrophobilc on silicon wafer 3]. They are called as Side Chain Crystallization polymer, and have not only Tg, but also melting point (Tm) even though usual acrylic polymers do not have Tm.
