Di-n-butyl maleate (DBM) is an internal plasticizer that can be copolymerized with monomers such as vinyl chloride, vinyl acetate, and styrene. It has strong solvent capacity and can effectively plasticize resins that are generally not easy to plasticize (such as acrylonitrile and methacrylate resins).

EC-861 is a phenyl acetate epoxy curative. When cured with an epoxy, the resulting thermoset displays a high level of toughness and flexibility.
