Due to its viscosity building efficiency, ease of formulation and long-term stability in mineral acids, Cola®Teric AV is ideal for use in acid bowl cleaners, dairy cleaners and a variety of applications where viscous acid solutions are required. For easiest results, add the ColaTeric AV to the water and then add the acid.

Cola®Liquid DT is a non-ionic 1:1 diisopropanolamine (DIPA) amide of tall oil fatty acids. Colonial Chemical’s Cola®Liquid products consist of completely liquid, consumer acceptable non-DEA amides that perform like traditional alkanolamide surfactants. Cola®Liquid DT provides viscosity building and foam stabilizing properties. The product is liquid and very mild to eyes and skin. Cola®Mid 3458 is a linoleic diethanolamide (INCI Designation: Linoleamide DEA) designed to provide excellent foam stabilization, viscosity building, conditioning, and emulsification properties in shampoos, skin cleansers, and other personal care products. For industrial applications, it is an effective thickener and emulsifier for a variety of oils and is useful in the development of micro-emulsion detergent and solvent-based cleaners.

Cola®Mid HPC has been developed specifically to increase flash foam. At concentrations of 1 - 3%, in a variety of cosmetic products such as shampoos, bubble baths, bath oils, etc. A significant increase in flash foam will be noted. Cola®Mid HPC also augments the foam boosting and foam stabilization properties of other amides without significantly affecting viscosities. Cola®Mid HPC is an effective emulsifier and solubilizing agent in cosmetic creams, lotions and other toiletry products. As a result of these functions, it can also be used as a viscosity control agent in these applications.

Cola®Mine 1281 is a unique 2:1 modified alkanolamide. This product is finding wide use in industrial hard surface cleaners, such as strippers and degreasers. ColaMine 1281 is biodegradable and is well suited for formulating "Green Cleaners".

Colonial AOS-40 is a pale yellow to light amber aqueous solution of sodium C14-16 alpha olefin sulfonate. Colonial AOS-40 combines the advantages of high foaming power, good emulsification, mildness to the skin, and excellent lime soap dispersion to give the formulator maximum flexibility in the preparation of light and heavy-duty cleaners. It is also suitable for use in acidic formulations such as those containing alpha hydroxyl acids or salicylic acid.

When combined in the proper ratio with alkyl sulfates or alkyl ether sulfates, Cola®Lux CAO-35 can be used to develop clear, mild, low pH shampoos/cleansers with substantial conditioning properties.
