AIREX® T10 is a closed-cell, thermoplastic and recyclable polymer foam with a very homogeneous cell structure, high mechanical properties and an outstanding price / performance ratio. It has an extraordinary resistance to fatigue, is chemically stable and has negligible water absorption. It is thermally stable during high temperature processing and post curing. T10 is designed for easy use with all resin systems and processing technologies. AIREX® T10 is ideally suited for high volume applications of lightweight sandwich structures subjected to static and dynamic loads and/or exposed to elevated temperatures during manufacturing.

Kayco Composites R15 is a rigid, closed-cell, high-density polyurethane foam core panel. The reinforced panel is a sandwich construction with fiberglass reinforcements. The fiberglass reinforcements are offered in several schedules.

Thermo-Cor™ FR 7.0 phenolic foam is a rigid, semi-closed celled, foam that comes in a full range of densities from 2.0 pcf to 40.0 pcf.Thermo-Cor FR has a higher compression strength ratio than competing phenolic foams of the same density. Its superior structural strength makes it well suited for stand-alone panels and stress skins used either as thermal or acoustical insulation for commercial applications, especially in hospitals, nursing homes and other public places where low smoke and toxicity are important.

Divinycell HT is an aerospace core available with comprehensive quality documentation and traceability. Diviniycell HT foam is suitable for pre-preg processing (typical +250°F) as well as wet resin systems and infusion. Furthermore Divinycell HT is also self-extinguishing according to FAR 25.853. Divinycell HT eliminates edge potting and sweep and sand.

Divinycell PN is a structural thermoplastic core material perfectly suited in a variety of sandwich applications to increase performance and reduce weight. Divinycell PN is used in industrial, transportation, marine and wind applications. It is easy to machine and has good dimensional stability at elevated temperatures. It is suitable for a variety of processes including infusion, prepreg and press bonding. The material has a stable closed cell structure and is insensitive to moisture, decay or rot, making it an excellent substitute for organic materials such as balsa and plywood. High density Divinycell PN (PN200 and PN250) is particularly suited for flooring, decking, local inserts in the way of fittings; either tapped or bolted through and has very good screw retention. Divinycell PN is 100% recyclable.

SAERfoam 80 has been developed to improve the handling of structures such as boat hulls and decks and large industrial parts made in infusion.

Macrofoam 24 is a specially engineered, high quality macrosphere syntactic foam designed to meet the requirements of a variety of subsea and oceanographic applications. MacroFoam products integrate fiber reinforced spheres into the standard syntactic structure, which produce a unique new set of properties. These properties allow for the attainment of lower densities in some applications as well as the fabrication of larger standard sizes and custom structures. Additionally, the inclusion of the fiber reinforced macrospheres into the syntactic system generally equates to lower cost buoyancy for a given depth. Due to the nature of the constituent materials, the density, strength and stiffness of MacroFoam may be tailored to meet the specific requirements of the end user’s application, providing greater flexibility for challenging designs.

SynFoam HP is a high performance syntactic foam designed to safely operate in underwater environments. SynFoam HP resists water absorption and provides excellent performance for deep water submersion in both manned and unmanned vehicles. These properties have made SynFoam HP a crucial component of ROV, AUV, UUV, and HOV underwater vehicles as well as buoyancy modules designed by industrial professionals. Our HP series of foams range in density from 20 to 32 pounds per cubic foot and are highly recommended for 1K, 2K, 3K, and 4K ROV's. SynFoam HP is available as 6” x 12” x 24” fully cured blocks. The blocks may be further machined into different sizes and shapes by the end user to meet the necessary specific tolerances and requirements. Our syntactic foam is easily bonded together with the use of our syntactic adhesive to form large structures. If you have a specific design for use with SynFoam HP we also provide final module fabrication services. Services include machining, assembly, and finishing with a quality marine based paint.

BZ-24 is a premium syntactic foams safely operates in the oceans Bathypelagic Zone, at depths ranging from 1,000 down to 4,000 meters. These specially formulated composites utilize a variety of hollow glass spheres to attain the lowest density in the industry. Hydrostatic performance is assured with crush depths at a minimum of 1.5 times the operation depth. BZ Grade syntactic foams are available in block form and may be readily used for customer assembly or cut to fit application requirements. Blocks or trimmed parts may also be bonded together to form larger structures.

SynFoam ELG is a two part closed cell syntactic resin system that is based on epoxy rather than polyurethane chemistry. ELG can withstand continuous exposure up to 300oF and retain it's rigidity. SynFoam ELG has low dielectric loss and dielectric properties. The weight is significantly lower than most low loss materials used for electronic applications. The system is suitable for both electronic potting and encapsulation as well as structural support. SynFoam ELG is shipped as two components which when mixed together can be poured and cast into various shapes and sizes. SynFoam ELG is available in 1 and 5 gallon kit sizes. Each kit contains an A and B side that must be mixed together prior to casting. SynFoam ELG does not require temperature to cure, but requires higher postcure temperatures to reach the maximum service use temperature. Please consult the appropriate instructions prior to using ELG.

Atlas F50 has a very good honeycomb structure and special chemical properties, which can be effectively used in all standard industries and processing industries, such as hand lay-up, vacuum infusion, RTM and other processes. It is a globally applicable material, widely used in fields such as wind turbine cabin covers, ships and non-structural parts.

Divinycell HCP grade meets the demand for a high performance, low density buoyancy material with excellent characteristics. It is widely used in submarines, subsea buoyancy units, ROVs, diving bells and impact protection structures. As a result of its excellent hydraulic compressive properties and closed cell structure, it has very low buoyancy loss and water absorption under long-term loading conditions. HCP stands for Hydraulic Crush Point and is defined as the point of pressure in Bar, where the material when subjected to an increasing pressure of 1-2 Bar/sec has lost 5% of its initial volume. The design of subsea buoyancy applications is complex and consideration has to be given to the required buoyancy loss and updrift over the expected lifetime and service conditions, with respect to long and short term hydraulic compressive creep, water absorption and hydraulic fatigue. SW is a closed cell foam that is easy to machine and will provide a smooth surface after sanding. SynFoam SW is ideal for underwater robotics, vehicles, flotation, pumps and as a core material. SynFoam SW resists water absorption and provides excellent performance for in shallow subsea applications. It has been used as a replacement for PU and PVC based foams due to its higher strength, better chemical resistance, and UV stability. SynFoam SW is available as 6” x 12” x 24” fully cured blocks.
