Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials is considered the world market leader in the production of classic glass-mat-reinforced thermoplastics (GMT). This semi-finished product in panel form was developed primarily as a substitute for metals (steel, aluminum etc.) and its main purchasers can be found in the automotive industry. This is where it is frequently pressed on the industrial scale into complex 3D structural components, although it is also used as panels.

THINPREG™ GF736 is a toughened epoxy adhesive film, with excellent tack and drape characteristics, supplied on a paper backer either in an unsupported format or with an embedded ultra-lightweight glass carrier to aid handling. GF736 offers many advantages for bonding composite laminates, either to other laminates, or to structural cores, including; consistent bond-line thickness and weight, high strain to failure, high toughness, handling convenience, controlled flow and a 6 week out-life at ambient temperature (18-22ºC/64-72ºF).

PREPREG system BD (epoxy resin) are based on modified epoxy resins with high impact strength and excellent dynamic properties. They can be processed into high-strength structural components using all common methods. The hardening range is between 85 ° C and 140 ° C ; the max. heat resistance is 125 ° C . The delivery program with fabric, laid and unidirectional reinforced PREPREGS allows the load-based design of your components.

THINPREG™ TP 150SC is designed for the automotive market due to the snap-cure capability for low TAKT times while achieving good mechanical properties, and the additional benefit of not requiring frozen or refrigerated storage.

AX-4270 is Structural Epoxy Aramid Prepreg.

ISOVAL® 10 R is made of glass roving fabric using the temperature-resistant ISOVAL® epoxy resin system. This gives the material excellent heat resistance and high compressive strength even at elevated temperatures with low thermal conductivity at the same time. The laminate has a permanent temperature resistance of 180 °C.

OM11 is a resin structural Low Tg prepreg that specifically customized for fatigue resistance part production in Industry. OM11 prepreg materials can be curable with Autoclave and Press.

EF 10 is highly toughened Mid Tg prepreg can be cured with autoclave and used in extreme applications in automotive industry and aviation industry.

PREPREG system BE (epoxy resin) are based on a temperature- resistant modified epoxy resin . Its processing is hot pressing or PREPREG winding. Its tack has no to little stickiness.

EF 12 is above 240 °C. High Tg EF12 resin system is used to produce structural prepregs. Optimized cure methods for these resin systems are Press and Autoclave molding.

PolyWeb C is made from polypropylene or PET staple fiber and chopped fiberglass (natural or black).

PREPREG system SG (silicone resin) are based on a silicone resin. Its Processing is hot pressing or prepreg winding.

CM11 resin is Mid Tg and its prepregs are suitable for hot painting, hot gluing and cataphoresis processes. New resin system not only cures under 3 minutes at 150°C at press under isothermal curing conditions but also hot de-moldable and long out-life of two weeks at ambient temperature. These extreme conditions does not affect the visual Performance of prepreg system with CM11, capable of Class A Surface. Drapability is suitable for press molds and low to medium tack optimized for press curing.

PREPREG Low temperature, system BX (epoxy resin) are based on modified epoxy resins with an extremely wide curing range from 55 ° C to 185 ° C and meet the requirements of a low-pressure / low-temperature PREPREG. The BX system is suitable for the production of structural components as well as fiber composite tools with a heat resistance of up to 195 ° C. The processing can take place according to all common methods.

CFP Composites BM-5 is cost comparable to aluminum on a fully finished component basis, but with all the benefits of carbon fiber.

AX-5201 is a Toughened Epoxy Carbon Laminating Prepreg.

CM12 resin is Mid Tg, dicy-free fast cure, hot demoldable isothermal press curable resin system and it is suitable for sanding and metal composite hybrid part production. Drapability is suitable for press molds and low to medium tack optimized for press curing. Performance of prepreg system with CM12, capable of Class A Surface.

PREPREG system PD (phenolic resin) are based on a modified phenolic resin system with excellent fire protection properties .

OM14 is a fast curing structural prepreg for press curing for the needs of structural parts used in Automotive Industry. Its short curing cycle and hot de-moldable nature are especially optimized for mass production at Automotive Industry with the addition of exceptionally long out life at room temperature. OM14 eliminates the need of Autoclave and Cold storage plus it is especially optimized for mass production. New resin system not only cures under 1-2 minutes at 150°C at press under isothermal curing conditions but also hot de-moldable and long out-life of one year at ambient temperature.

OM13 is a structural resin system. It is translucent when cured.

AX-5270 is a Structural Epoxy Carbon Prepreg.

Gillfab® 1042 is a heat resistant laminate made from phenolic resin with fiberglass cloth reinforcement with smooth bondable faces intended for both laminate and sandwich construction.

AX-3270 is a Structural Epoxy Fiberglass Prepreg.

OM 12 is a glass fiber or carbon fiber reinforced composites offer advantages of high corrosion resistance and high strength-to-weight ratio than traditional wood or steel materials. Kordsa may provide different reinforcement materials including glass or carbon UD, 2D and multiaxial impregnated with epoxy. For the huge size part production, generally vacuum bag only prepregs (OM12) are recommended

OM10 is highly toughened structural Low Tg resin for press and autoclave curing for the needs of structural parts used in Automotive Industry. OM10 prepreg cures at both press and Autoclave with long out-life of 4 weeks at ambient temperature.

THINPREG™ TP 513 is a prepreg resin matrix used for the manufacture of light weight prepreg molding materials. ThinPreg™ 513 is a versatile system that is used most often with carbon fiber, but can also be impregnated into a wide range of reinforcing fibers including quartz, glass, aramid etc.

THINPREG™ TP 135 is a breakthrough product combining high strength and high toughness in a thin ply format. The PES-toughened epoxy system shows compression after impact properties typical of 3rd generation aerospace matrices. Thin ply materials achieve higher usable properties from the fiber through spreading load more consistently though the laminate and delaying first ply failure. Negligible ply drop-off effects and greater degrees of freedom in design are now combined with a PES-toughened system for high resolution, highly optimized, super-strong composite structures.

THINPREG™ TP 402 is a resin system suitable for manufacture of unidirectional prepreg material. ThinPreg™ 402 is a versatile system that is used most often with carbon fiber, but can also be impregnated into a wide range of reinforcing fibers including quartz, glass, aramid fiber etc. ThinPreg™ 402 features a high Tg (180°C) capability with additional toughening, and has been designed to be a good all-round product in terms of mechanical strength and processability.

THINPREG™ TP 415 is a rubber toughened version of TP402, design for sporting goods application, combining high elongation and great toughness. It is available in ultra-Thin Ply format, as low as 15gsm. This hot-melt epoxy prepreg is recommended to be cured at 135°C for optimal performance and a Tg until 145°C Onset (by E’ DMA). This matrix has a very good flow control. TP415 offers excellent mechanical properties on a wide variety of fibers, and fiber weights.

V2 Composites V2 T-Biscuits are custom carbon/glass fiber reinforced plastic laminates designed to repairfailed flange-to-flange shear connectors of pre-cast concrete (single & double) Tee beams. Aspecially engineered tri-axial carbon fabric is used to provide high strength, while a proprietarytextured glass fabric is bonded on the exterior face to provide additional toughness as well as arough bonding surface. The constituent resin matrix is a proprietary epoxy with proven ability toprovide strength along with superior chemical resistance, especially to salt and gasoline. Using aproprietary aerospace composite manufacturing technique, the fabric and resin are combined toform a finished composite laminate.
