Toray TC275-1 is a dual-cure toughened epoxy prepreg designed to facilitate composite part construction with low pressure or vacuum pressure cures. The resin system features a 14-day tack life and 14-day total out time to allow the construction of thick or larger composite structure. TC275-1 may be cured at a lower temperature of 135°C (275°F) or can be cured at 177°C (350°F) for higher temperature service. 135–177°C (275–350°F) Cure Toughened Epoxy Resin System

Toray Toray CFRT® AG18-2L is a reinforced thermoplastic composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven glass fibers in a plain weave for enhanced performance. The AG-18 2L style laminate is available in a dual-layer product with glass fibers in both directions (0° & 90°). This construction is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Toray BT250E-1 resin system is a 121°C (250°F) cure epoxy prepreg system with excellent toughness and strength. It provides an outstanding surface finish under vacuum-bag/oven-cure only. The resin system, which is self-adhesive to honeycomb and foam core, is MIL-R-9300 qualified and makes a great choice for many Applicationss in the low-tomedium-service temperature range.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is a cyanate ester based syntactic film developed to be compatible with various cyanate ester matrices, including Toray RS-3. Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is available in unsupported and supported continuous film form in thicknesses from 0.25–6.35 mm (10–250 mils). Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 has been evaluated and qualified in aerospace and dielectric structures. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Film. Film to 127 cm (50”) wide.

Renegade Materials Corporation RM-3004 prepreg products offer an Out of Autoclave (OOA) option for processing BMI’s. This very unique chemistry can be processed into low-void, high quality, thick laminates with only a vacuum bag in the oven. Yet it still delivers excellent hot/wet performance and durability in airframe, missile and propulsion applications at service temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). RM-3004 (OOA) BMI delivers comparable damage tolerance at high temperatures to industry-standard Autoclave Processed BMI’s. Although developed for structural applications, RM-3004 also offers some unique advantages for tooling. Renegade precision-quality prepregs exhibit excellent handling characteristics and are available in woven and unidirectional form on various fibers including carbon, quartz and S2 glass. A wide variety of nano-materials can be incorporated into this resin system for tailored laminate properties and multi-functional performance. Renegade has formulated compatible BMI Paste Adhesive products (RM-3006, RM-3007) for use with RM-3004 prepregs. Renegade also offers BMI resin systems for RTM (RM-3000) or VARTM (RM-3010) infusion processing.

MTC275 is an epoxy resin system designed to give excellent clarity and surface finish out of autoclave. It is a toughened epoxy resin system designed for component manufacturing that can be supplied on a variety of fabrics and in UD format to meet your cost and manufacturing requirements.

Toray TC522 is a highly toughened modified epoxy resin system. TC522 displays outstanding Compression After Impact (CAI), setting it apart from other resins designed for dielectric Applicationss. TC522 exhibits excellent mechanical and thermal properties, along with very low moisture absorption. TC522 low dielectric constant and loss tangent along with very high CAI make it ideal for radome and antenna Applicationss in environments where impact and high mechanical properties are required. 180°C (356°F) Cure Highly Toughened Modified Epoxy

Toray E726 is a toughened epoxy resin system with controlled flow for cures at 120°C (248°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. It is designed for use within medical and industrial Applicationss and would also suit a wide range of engineering Applicationss. Toray E726 is compatible for co-cure with Toray EF72, a 120°C (248°F) cure resin film and Toray MicroPly™ SC72A syntactic core.

Park’s E-752-MTS is a toughened; 350°F cure epoxy system designed with improved mechanical properties and damage tolerance that is suitable for primary aircraft structures. Consistent with the E-752 family of epoxies, the E-752-MTS allows flexible and robust processing in Autoclave, Out of Autoclave and Press cures. It exhibits improved toughness and impact strength while maintaining good tack and drapeability for ease of layup.

Toray BTCy-2 is our lowest dielectric cyanate ester prepreg resin system. This resin system is valued in high-energy microwave Applicationss due to the low loss tangent. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester

Park’s E-752 is a toughened, 365°F cure epoxy system designed for demanding structural applications up to 265°F/wet. E-752 offers a good balance of toughness, high service temperature and good moisture resistance, as well as excellent tack and drape. Formulated for both oven and autoclave cure, E-752 provides for easy processing with oven cure, without sacrificing mechanical properties.

Toray E720 is a 120°C (248°F) cure toughened epoxy prepreg. E720 offers excellent adhesive properties, allowing direct lamination to honeycomb without the use of a film adhesive. E720 is designed for structural Applicationss in motorsport and marine industries. E720 would also suit general aircraft fittings, sporting equipment, and a wide range of engineering Applicationss. Toray E720 is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s 120°C (248°F) cure resin film MicroPly™ EF72 and syntactic core Toray MicroPly™ SC72A. Park’s E-765 is a toughened 270°F cure epoxy prepreg system designed to replace 350°F cure systems in many aircraft structural applications. Park’s E-765-3K-PW, -6K-5HS and 7781 materials are AGATE approved. FAA-approved, B-Basis design allowable databases for AGATE materials are available upon request. Park has also developed AGATE approved material and process specifications which are also available upon request.

Toray 8020 is a new generation of toughened epoxy resin systems offering a balance of mechanical properties and excellent surface finish. The resin system has been developed to offer a long out life and flexible cure schedules and can be applied to a wide range of high performance fibers. Toray 8020 is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s resin film, Toray 8020, and Toray’s syntactic core, Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A.

Toray RS-3 is a modified cyanate ester prepreg resin developed to provide a good balance between toughness and high temperature/wet performance. RS-3 has been evaluated and qualified in the areas of satellite, airframe/missile, and dielectric structures. RS-3 is also available in several modified formulations including: RS-3C, a controlled-flow vacuum-bag/oven-cure version; and RS-3M, an extremely low-flow autoclave version. 177°C (350°F) Service Toughened Cyanate Ester Resin

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical OPS75 material is designed to give a high class finish with reduced pre-paint preparation and versatile out of autoclave curing. It can be supplied with carbon or glass fabric reinforcement. This resin system color is black. The standard system comprises of 1 layer of OPS75 surface ply and 1 layer of PSB75 bulk ply.

Toray TC420 is a flow-controlled high temperature cyanate ester resin, toughened to resist microcracking. TC420 is specifically formulated to facilitate production of large out-of-autoclave structures. It can act as a self-adhesive system and is resistant to microcracking. This resin represents a new family of next generation high temperature resins, film adhesives, syntactic paste and expanding foams for ultra-high temperature conditions. TC420 is easy to process, and yields low void laminates with a flexible cure cycle under vacuum-only pressure. This system is also autoclave processable. TC420 is an attractive alternative to bismaleimide (BMI) and polyimide resins.

OM13 is a structural resin system. It is translucent when cured.

Park’s E-752-LT is a toughened; 350°F (177°C) cure epoxy resin system with 315°F (157°C) wet Tg for primary and secondary structural applications. E-752-LT is formulated for efficient processing in high volume Automated Fiber Placement (AFP) applications manufacturing. The resin system offers a combination of toughness, low moisture uptake and good mechanical properties. E-752-LT is formulated to laminate In Autoclave (AC), Out of Autoclave (OOA) and Press cure conditions.

Toray E721-FR is a modified epoxy resin system of medium viscosity for cures at 120°C (248°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass, and aramid. Toray E721-FR offers excellent structural properties, flame retardancy, and exceptional toughness allowing direct lamination to honeycomb without the use of resin film. Toray E721-FR is designed for structural Applicationss in the motor racing, marine industries, and for a wide range of engineering Applicationss. If fire-retardant properties are not required, consult separate data sheet for Toray E720.

The BW-1000 style laminate is available in a single-layer product; carbon in one direction and glass fibers at a 90° orientation to the carbon that is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

Toray Toray CFRT® TL-6000 is a reinforced thermoplastic composite that blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven carbon fibers for enhanced performance. Within the product range, 2 layer (MOD1, 2L), 3 layer (3L), or 4 layer (4L) products are available, all ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient. This material can be drilled, ground, polished and adjusted after being formed with a heated gun. TL-6000 has a smooth high-gloss finish and transparent surface to show woven carbon fiber.

Shanghai Sunwise Chemical VTC212 (DF212) is a toughened epoxy prepreg system designed for out of autoclave cure allowing flexibility in component manufacture. This resin system color is gray.

Toray TC890 high temperature polyimide prepreg system utilizes PROOF Research Advanced Composites Division 900HT resin system. TC890 is a high temperature, polyimide-based thermoset prepreg with outstanding dry property retention at 343°C (650°F), wet service property retention at 288°C (550°F), and short-term and intermittent service temperature capability to 427°C (800°F). TC890 has been successfully demonstrated in short term, transient heating Applicationss to temperatures as high as 1300°F. TC890 is an excellent non-MDA replacement for high temperature PMR-15 Applicationss. TC890 prepreg system is easily processable and thermally stable, exhibiting the highest glass transition temperature of commercially available structural matrices. Toray RS-36 is an advanced modified epoxy system for structural composite Applicationss. RS-36 offers an excellent balance of mechanical properties, low moisture absorption, high glass transition temperatures, and a range of processing options. A higher Tg version, RS-36-1, with similar mechanical properties, is available. 177°C (350°F) Cure Epoxy Resin System

Toray C740 is a cyanate ester resin system for cures at 135°C (275°F), pre-impregnated into high performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 325°C (617°F).

Toray C640 is a cyanate ester resin system suitable for curing between 70°C (158°F) and 135°C (275°F). The medium viscosity resin is pre-impregnated into high-performance fibers such as carbon, glass and aramid. The system is capable of withstanding very high temperatures and is inherently flame-retardant. After a suitable post cure, the glass transition temperature can be increased to as high as 335°C (635°F).

TC275-1E is an extended out time version of the TC275-1 resin system. TC275-1E is a flexible cure toughened epoxy prepreg designed to enable composite part construction with low pressure or vacuum bag only (VBO) cures. The resin system provides a 28-day total out time to facilitate construction of thick or larger composite structures. TC275-1E may be cured at temperatures from 135°C (275°F) to 177°C (350°F) for higher temperature service. 135–177°C (275–350°F) Cure Toughened Epoxy Resin System

Toray E732 is a snap cure toughened epoxy resin matrix optimized for press curing (compression molding) prepreg Applicationss. With a cure time of 4 minutes at 160°C (320°F), an onset Tg of 170°C (338°F) is achieved. At this higher temperature, medium-to-high production rates can be accomplished, with customers able to produce beyond 50,000 parts per year. Toray E732 is a versatile matrix with a range of processing options allowing a variety of automotive and industrial Applicationss to be realized.

Park’s E-763 is a modified epoxy system with a nominal 250°F cure temperature. E-763 provides a transparent resin surface on the finished part which gives finished part surfaces a cosmetically attractive finish.
