Toray Toray CFRT® BW-1000 is a reinforced thermoplastic composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven carbon and glass fibers in a basket weave for enhanced performance. The BW-1000 style laminate is available in a single-layer product; carbon in one direction and glass fibers at a 90° orientation to the carbon that is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

THINPREG™ TP 135 is a breakthrough product combining high strength and high toughness in a thin ply format. The PES-toughened epoxy system shows compression after impact properties typical of 3rd generation aerospace matrices. Thin ply materials achieve higher usable properties from the fiber through spreading load more consistently though the laminate and delaying first ply failure. Negligible ply drop-off effects and greater degrees of freedom in design are now combined with a PES-toughened system for high resolution, highly optimized, super-strong composite structures.

SIMPREX® H325 is an advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide good fire retardance properties (V-1 flammability rating). It is ideal for manufacturing sandwich structures, providing good adhesion to core materials such as Nomex® honeycomb, balsa and foams. SIMPREX® H325 is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature, where a high degree of fire retardance is required.

Renegade Materials Corporation RM-2008 is a 250°F Curing Epoxy Prepreg System. A general purpose modified epoxy developed for ease of processing and excellent tack and drape characteristics. It is well-suited for 200°F dry or 160°F wet service environments . RM-2008 is processable by autoclave, vacuum bag/oven or compression molding. RM-2008 Epoxy prepregs are readily available in glass, quartz or carbon product forms, with small minimum order quantities and Renegade’s fastest lead times in the industry.

Toray E732 is a snap cure toughened epoxy resin matrix optimized for press curing (compression molding) prepreg Applicationss. With a cure time of 4 minutes at 160°C (320°F), an onset Tg of 170°C (338°F) is achieved. At this higher temperature, medium-to-high production rates can be accomplished, with customers able to produce beyond 50,000 parts per year. Toray E732 is a versatile matrix with a range of processing options allowing a variety of automotive and industrial Applicationss to be realized.

SIMPREX® 1455 are advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide high strength and toughness retention at elevated temperature. SIMPREX® 1455 have a medium tack and are a great choice for many applications in the range of medium to high service temperature.

Toray BT250E-1 resin system is a 121°C (250°F) cure epoxy prepreg system with excellent toughness and strength. It provides an outstanding surface finish under vacuum-bag/oven-cure only. The resin system, which is self-adhesive to honeycomb and foam core, is MIL-R-9300 qualified and makes a great choice for many Applicationss in the low-tomedium-service temperature range.

PRF Composite Materials RP549 is a highly toughened modified epoxy prepreg that has been specially formulated for the production of components requiring high mechanical properties and good impact resistance, particularly those exposed to elevated temperatures. This new system has an >200°C Tg following the 180°C cure cycle, and provides excellent mechanical properties in tensile, ILS and flexural strength. RP549 is now in manufacture on a range of our high quality woven fabrics.

Toray Toray CFRT® AG18-2L is a reinforced thermoplastic composite laminate. It blends the benefits of a thermoplastic polymer matrix with woven glass fibers in a plain weave for enhanced performance. The AG-18 2L style laminate is available in a dual-layer product with glass fibers in both directions (0° & 90°). This construction is ultra-thin, lightweight, and resilient for improved energy return.

CoreFix is an innovative prepreg used for stabilizing metallic and non-metallic honeycomb materials during handling and machining operations. CoreFix is designed to be easily removed from the core without tearing or distorting the honeycomb.

Toray TC275-1 is a dual-cure toughened epoxy prepreg designed to facilitate composite part construction with low pressure or vacuum pressure cures. The resin system features a 14-day tack life and 14-day total out time to allow the construction of thick or larger composite structure. TC275-1 may be cured at a lower temperature of 135°C (275°F) or can be cured at 177°C (350°F) for higher temperature service. 135–177°C (275–350°F) Cure Toughened Epoxy Resin System

Toray TC522 is a highly toughened modified epoxy resin system. TC522 displays outstanding Compression After Impact (CAI), setting it apart from other resins designed for dielectric Applicationss. TC522 exhibits excellent mechanical and thermal properties, along with very low moisture absorption. It is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature.

Toray 8020 is a new generation of toughened epoxy resin systems offering a balance of mechanical properties and excellent surface finish. The resin system has been developed to offer a long out life and flexible cure schedules and can be applied to a wide range of high performance fibers. Toray 8020 is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s resin film, Toray 8020, and Toray’s syntactic core, Toray MicroPly™ SC8020A.

APCM DA 4082 is 200°F cure modified epoxy prepreg system which can be prepreged on fiberglass fabric, woven Kevlar, or other woven fabrics. In addition to their low temperature cure capabilities, DA 4080 prepregs have excellent flow to allow for vacuum bag cure conditions. DA 4080 is a one sided pre-impregnated system yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4082 is the same system except that both sides of the fabric are coated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepregs can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

Toray E720 is a 120°C (248°F) cure toughened epoxy prepreg. E720 offers excellent adhesive properties, allowing direct lamination to honeycomb without the use of a film adhesive. E720 is designed for structural Applicationss in motorsport and marine industries. E720 would also suit general aircraft fittings, sporting equipment, and a wide range of engineering Applicationss. Toray E720 is compatible for co-cure with Toray’s 120°C (248°F) cure resin film MicroPly™ EF72 and syntactic core Toray MicroPly™ SC72A. SIMPREX® M745-200 is an advanced vinyl ester prepreg designed to provide a high performance-to-cost ratio. SIMPREX® M745-200 has a medium tack. It can be cured at lower temperature (205°F) and provides good adhesion to core materials such as Nomex® honeycomb, balsa and polyurethane foam. It is a great choice for many applications in the range of low to medium service temperature.

Evopreg® PFC502 prepregs are a range of fire-retardant, pre-impregnated composite materialsbased on a PFA (Polyfurfuryl Alcohol) bioresin. PFA is a thermosetting bioresin derived from crop waste and is similar to phenolic resin but withlower toxicity and VOC emissions. In addition to its environmental credentials, PFA hasoutstanding fire retardant properties, plus excellent temperature and chemical resistance. The prepregs can be supplied with a range of reinforcement fibers and fabric constructions,including woven and unidirectional E-glass fiber and carbon fiber. They can be consolidated byvacuum bagging, autoclave or press molding and are designed for applications includingaircraft interiors, rail interiors, marine, offshore and construction.

PRF Composite Materials RP800 is an epoxy tooling prepreg system capable of withstanding temperatures up to 190°C after full post cure. RP800 is available in carbon and glass woven fabrics from 200 - 800 g/m2 impregnated with epoxy resin. RP800 prepreg allows high quality tooling laminates to be produced directly from a low temperature master model permitting a wide choice of master model materials. Using a low temperature vacuum bag and autoclave process for inital cure, the tool laminate can then be demoulded for freestanding post cure.

APCM DA 4092 is modified epoxy pre-impregnated system which can cure at 250°F (121°C) for one hour. DA 4090 | DA 4092 can be supplied on any commercially available glass, Kevlar, or graphite fabric. DA 4090 is a one sided pre-impregnated fabric yielding a single sided tack material. DA 4092 is the same system where both sides of the fabric are pre-impregnated yielding a double sided tack material. Both prepreg systems can be used for laminating and honeycomb sandwich construction.

APCM DA 4518U is a tough, versatile, modified epoxy resin system that cures at 250°F to 350°F. DA4518U can be supplied as a prepreg tape coated on unidirectional graphite.

Toray Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is a cyanate ester based syntactic film developed to be compatible with various cyanate ester matrices, including Toray RS-3. Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 is available in unsupported and supported continuous film form in thicknesses from 0.25–6.35 mm (10–250 mils). Toray MicroPly™ SF-5 has been evaluated and qualified in aerospace and dielectric structures. 177°C (350°F) Cure Cyanate Ester Syntactic Film. Film to 127 cm (50”) wide.

AX-3201XL is an Epoxy Fiberglass Prepreg for Vacuum Bag Only Processing.

PRF Composite Materials RP522 is made up of Woven fabrics which is used for General and Industrial Purpose.

THINPREG™ TP 736LT is an exceptionally versatile hot-melt, epoxy prepreg. It can be cured at temperature as low as 80°C (176°F), or can be used for faster molding of components at 120°C (248°F). This is achieved with a good out-life of up to 60 days at 18-22°C (64-72°C)..

Toray E726 is compatible for co-cure with Toray EF72, a 120°C (248°F) cure resin film and Toray MicroPly™ SC72A syntactic core.
