STYPOL® 040-4950,040-4954,040-4956 and 040-4965 are clear MACT compliant NPG isophthalic gel coats. They have been designed for use in the manufacturing of cultured marble,onyx,and granite.

Lavecoat IN is an industrial gelcoat designed as an ideal primer for further painting. It delivers a good surface quality at a very competitive price.

POLYCOR® M1 BR WHITE - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.Product is recommended for the manufacture of industrial pieces requiring additional fire retardence. The product was designed for INTERNAL pieces ONLY.

Polycor® iso NPG BR - isophthalicnpg, excellent water resistance, chemical resistance, good UV resistance, good gloss retention available in a range clear or color variants. Main applications areas are agrochemical, agrobusiness, building and construction, furniture etc.

Polycryl B-501 Black is a vinyl ester tooling gel coat, acrylic modified formulation. These gel coats are formulated specifically to meet the stringent specifications of the Marine and Transportation markets. Polycryl gel coats are formulated for spray with standard pressure pot equipment or air assisted airless equipment. Please refer to the “Polycryl Tooling Gel Coat Application Guide” before applying these products. Unacceptable results can occur when used improperly.

RESOLCOAT 7090 CLEAR is a high TG gelcoat specially formulated for the production of tooling and structural composites parts requiring high service temperatures. This gelcoat may be applied from thicknesses from 300 to 600 microns depending if it is for parts or tool manufacturing where thickness of 600 microns is recommended.

Polynt Group 23 series of gelcoats are formulated specifically for composite mold making. It is formulated with a special base resin that permits an excellent resistance to heat distortion even after repeated use. They provide a high gloss and hard durable surface. These tooling gel coats are formulated ready-to-spray after the addition of the proper amount of appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide or cumene hydro peroxide catalyst. The low opacity formulation help to detect default during spraying process. See section: application in PB-5 polyester tooling because even though manufacturing precautions are used to make tooling gelcoat, a misapplication of these products can produce unacceptable results.

Sogel Weatherguard Gel coats have been developed from a special polyester resin This in combination with high quality additives, allows optimal performance for the manufacture of exterior pieces exposed to weather conditions. Sogel Weatherguard Gel coats provide a permanent lustrous finish, an esthetic surface, and an intense color.

POLYCOR® ISO SP - Light stabilized accelerated isophthalic gel coat base with medium reactivity.

Lavecoat OR is an orthoPhtalic gelcoat for general purposes. Easy to apply and with very good hiding power. It is suitable for parts with moderate external weather ability requirements.

Ares P100 NGSL is orthophthalic resin with good reactivity and modulus. Excellent color stability. Good compatibility with fillers and pigments. Light stabilized resin.

Armorflex® 945 - polyester and vinyl ester tooling gel goats; formulated specifically for mold making; high gloss and hard, durable surfaces. Main applications areas are composites, industrial sector etc.

Polycryl G-501 Green is a vinyl ester tooling gel coat, acrylic modified formulation. Polynt Group 21X, 21X AD cures to form a tough, glossy finish with excellent weather and water resistance; resistance to staining, chalking, crazing and cracking; formulated for brush and roll applications. Main applications areas are composites, marine etc.

Polycor® GP-H - pre-accelerated, neutral color, thixotropic orthophthalic modified gelcoat. Good color stability. Good filler and pigment wettability. Recommended for hand lay-up application. It is generally used in automotive applicatons.

RESOLCOAT 7080 CSI is an High abrasion resistance gelcoat. Which has high thermomechanical properties and Room temperature release.

Polycor® 943 Base White products are high performance gel coats formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or any FRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed. Use of Polycor® 943 gel coats has enabled customers to meet and surpass all requirements of the American national standard for plastic bath tubs, shower receptors and shower stalls, ANSI Z124.1, .2 and .3 1995, sec. 6.1.1. These gel coats are ready to use, easy to spray, sag resistant, fast curing and require only the addition of the proper amount of an appropriate methyl ethyl ketone peroxide to cure. Polycor® 943 gel coats are available in whites and a wide range of colors.

EPOVIA ORTHO BR - Orthophthalic,good workability,available in a range of white and or color. Main Applications areas are Agrochemical,Agrobusiness,Solvents etc.

Polycor® 948 Base White series enamels are formulated to be used as topcoats on fiberglass laminates such as boat and camper shell interiors. Normally enamels are used as interior finishes or to cover a laminate to provide a colored surface. Polycor® 948 series enamels are available in White or any of the Colors listed in the standard color gel coat color deck. Special Colors are available upon request. They can be made from an isophthalic or iso/npg base resin. Consult a polynt composites sales representative to find out more about a particular product.

Armorflex® 943 - standard iso NPG gel coat; excellent blister resistance; resistant to certain chemicals. Main applications areas are building and construction, composites, industrial sector, marine etc.

RESOLCOAT GC HT180 BLACK epoxy system is a very high TG epoxy gelcoat specially formulated for the production of tooling and large structural composites parts requiring high services temperatures and glass transition temperature up to 180°C. This new generation system is suitable for the manufacture of large molds structures and composite parts. Laminates or molds can be released after a low temperature cure cycle (8h at 50°C). Final thermo-mechanical properties will be obtained after a post curing cycle defined according later in this technical data sheet.

Polynt Group 50, 50X - easy to sand and polish; excellent resistance to yellowing and fading due to sun exposure; resistance to thermal change and weathering; higher gloss recovery when polishing back aged or from lower gloss mold; excellent blister resistance. Main applications areas are building and construction, composites etc.

POLYCOR® LP BR WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat based on modified Isophthalic unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This product is formulated for use in a variety of industrials composite parts.

Polynt Group 22-00 series gelcoat is formulated from high quality polyester resin, which cures to form a tough, glossy finish with superior gloss and water resistance. 22-series gelcoat does not contain filler.

POLYCOR® TOOLING BR CLEAR 0200 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This product is recommended for mold manufacturing process and provide durable surfaces to withstand the repeated moldings of GRP laminates.

Sogel Sanitary Gel coats have been developed from an ISO/NPG resin in combination with pigments and high quality additives. These high performance gel coats offer high resistance to osmosis, making them ideal for sanitary applications. Our line of Sanitary Gel coats are in compliance with the requirements of the American National Standard for plastic baths and showers as well as with the MACT standard of the EPA for the manufacture of composite materials.

POLYCOR® LSC NPG FLEX BR WHITE 9199 - A pre-accelerated gel coat base on unsaturated polyester resin. It is cured using MEKP peroxide.This high performance gel coat is formulated for use in sanitary and marine applications or GRP application where resistance to water and blistering are needed.

Polynt Group 25 series gelcoats are formulated from premium polyester resins and fire retardant additives to achieve optimal fire retardancy properties and low slow smoke development. They are suitable for applications requiring a surface with resistance to flame spread and smoke development.

RESOLTECH 2010 FGCS is a Self Extinguishing Epoxy Gelcoat that complies with marine, aerospace & building industry standards. Which has High quality finish and very high UV resistance.

STYPOL® 040-4917 is a clear,acrylic modified NPG® isophthalic gel coat. STYPOL® 040-4917 has been designed for use in the manufacture of cultured marble,onyx,and granite.

Our Polyester Barrier Coat was developed from a proprietary resin blend with high quality raw materials and special additives. This coating acts as a barrier coat between the laminate and the gelcoat. This formulation provides superior osmosis resistance along with enhanced thermal and cracking resistance properties. Sogel’s Polyester Barrier Coats allow accelerating the cure and the demoulding time, while strongly reducing the risk of print through, orange peel and blisters on gelcoat surface.

RESOLCOAT 7060 is an epoxy clear or pigmented Gelcoat. Which has improved UV resistance, room temperature cure & high gloss and choice of slow and fast hardeners. RESOLCOAT 7060 epoxy gelcoat is specially formulated for the production of structural composites parts or tools requiring high mechanical & abrasion properties and room temperature curing. Two versions are available depending on the pot life needed : 1h45min for large parts or 16min for high production outputs, with a very fast curing time in film for the fast version - closer to a polyester curing time than to a typical epoxy. In both cases, the gelcoat may be ordered in its clear version (mainly for parts) or colored version for tools or parts production.

Polycryl PPS-B-630 Black is a refinishing vinyl ester tooling gel coat. These coatings are vinyl ester urethane hybrids with a unique low hap chemistry. They are MACT Compliant and meet current Federal regulations regarding emissions.

Higloss TR® 99R Neutral Base gel coats are high performance products formulated for the reinforced plastics composites industry.
