Conventional or organic available Eucalyptus olida, also known as the Strawberry Gum, is a medium-sized tree to 20 m, restricted tosclerophyll woodlands on the Northern Tablelands of New South Wales, in Eastern Australia. The bark is fibrous in mature trees. Flowers are cream colored and are followed by small woody capsules. The juvenile leaves are ovate (7 cm long) and dull green. Adult leaves are lanceolate and glossy green (to 17 cm). The leaves are intensely aromatic and are used as a bushfood spice. E.olida is classified as a threatened species in the wild, but is becoming more common in cultivation due to itsessential oil and spice qualities. E. olida leaf is also used as a dried spice product in bushfood cooking, especially with fruit and in herbal teas. It has high anti-oxidant activity. In the Australian native foods industry several trade names are used, including ‘olida’ and ‘forestberry herb’. Peppermint Gum, was initially found around the Blue Mountains and then west through the Great Dividing Range and south along the range into Victoria, as far as Ballarat. In its optimal situation this Eucalypt can reach up to 20 meters in height. The Peppermint Gum (Eucalyptus dives) tree has been harvested and distilled for over 100 years. Early settlers took advantage of the tree leaves for colds, coughs, flu. The oil was a significant source of menthol and thymol. The leaves and branchlets are harvested and steam distilled and the oil has a peppermint, spicy, fresh, invigorating Eucalyptus aroma. Conventional or organic available Turmeric (Curcuma longa), also known as Indian Saffron and Indian Yellow Root, is a perennial tropical herb belonging to the ginger (Zingiberaceae) family. Native to India and Southeast Asia this golden spice has been used for thousands of years for culinary, religious and medicinal purposes. It is a staple ingredient in Asian and Middle Eastern cooking and has long been used in Ayurvedic, Siddha and Traditional Chinese Medicine for treating a wide range of ailments. Turmeric essential oil is steam distilled from the ‘cured’ roots (rhizomes). It is yellow in color and has a distinctive, spicy, smoky, woody aroma. Turmeric was used in the ancient Ayurveda and Unani medicine system to treat a large number of health-related problems such as indigestion, common cold, liver ailments, etc. It was also applied to wounds and cuts as it comprises antiseptic and antibacterial properties.

Cananga (Cananga odorata var macrophylla)is closely related to Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata var genuine). The oils are quite similar, as the plants are from the same genus and species. Cananga has a beautiful but more subtle floral aroma than Ylang Ylang and has a more woody note. They have slightly different chemical compositions. Cananga has higher amounts of beta-caryophyllene. It is a soothing and calming oil. It has a middle/base note. Canaga oil is highly prized in the perfume industry and is a favorite in cosmetic products. The Cananga tree is native to Indonesia, Malaysia and The Philippines. The oil is produced from the steam distillation its yellow flowers. The flowers are picked early in the morning to ensure maximum oil yield.

Conventional or organic available With a strong, clean, purifying citrus scent, Lemon Oil is light and refreshing, with many uplifting benefits for the mind, body and soul. The word lemon is derived from the Arabic laymun and Persian limun (words, which were generic terms for all citrus fruit). The exact origin of the lemon has remained a mystery, though it is widely presumed that lemons first grew in India, northern Burma, and China. In South and South East Asia, it was known for its antiseptic properties and it was used as an antidote for various poisons. The Arab conquerors took the Lemon with them around the Mediterranean basin introducing it around AD 1000 and 1200 into Sicily, Spain and North Africa where it quickly adapted to the Mediterranean climate. The fruit was well known in Europe by the middle ages, and Greeks and Romans were advocates of its therapeutic properties. Lemon essential oil reached the height of its fame when the British began using the citrus fruit to counteract the effects of scurvy. It was introduced to Australia by the Early Settlers. It is extracted from the fresh fruit peel by cold expression. Lemon oil blends well with many other essential oils making it a popular oil for herbalists and those who practice the healing art of aromatherapy.

Conventional or organic available Red Thyme traditionally grows in the southern most regions of Spain. It’s a small aromatic herb from the mint family mostly used for culinary purposes. Harvesting takes place during the summer months, between late June and August. Thyme Red Thymus vulgaris has been cultivated by humans as long as records have been kept. The history of Thyme dates back to Ancient Egyptian times where it was used for embalming practices. Greeks and Romans also valued Thyme as a herb for flavoring food, as incense, for cleansing rooms and considered the dry herbs to be a source of courage. Thyme has been embraced for its culinary uses in modern history and a staple in most herb gardens and kitchens around the world.

Cedarwood Virginia (Juniperus virginiana) is native to the Eastern USA and Canada. Also known as Red Cedar and or Eastern Red Cedar, it thrives in high altitudes growing to about 100 feet. The aroma is grounding evoking a feeling of vitality and health. This species has been used for numerous issues, including applications for the skin for wounds, skin rashes, hair loss, eczema, acne, warts, fungal skin infections, and hemorrhoids. It can also be rubbed onto joints for rheumatism, and onto the chest for asthma. Eastern red cedar is also used as a fragrance for soaps, perfumes, and cosmetics.

The Rose comes originally from Asia Minor, it is cultivated mostly in Bulgaria, Iran and India. The Rose was valued by the Arab physician Avicenna (AD 980-1037), during the Middle Ages and during the Renaissance as a remedy for depression. One of the most prized aromatherapy oils, it takes up to 30 roses to produce just one drop of Rose oil. Rose has a beautiful, strong floral and sweet fragrance that is intoxicating and highly romantic. It's said to help bring balance and harmony with stimulating and uplifting properties that create a sense of well-being and self-confidence. It has been used for skincare for thousands of years Rose Oil Rosa damascena is known as the Queen of Oils, Rose oil is highly sought after for its aroma and powerful topical and emotional benefits. The blooming floral aroma is comforting and Rose oil, used topically, helps promote healthy-looking skin.

Palmarosa is a tall, herbaceous grass with long stems, aromatic leaves and flowering tops. It is native to Pakistan and India but is also cultivated in Indonesia, Brazil, the Comoro Islands, Africa and Madagascar. Palmarosa essential oil is steam-distilled from the fresh or dried grass which is harvested before the plant flowers. Palmarosa essential oil is also sometimes called Turkish Geranium, East Indian Geranium or Rose Geranium. Because of its rose-like aroma, Palmarosa essential oil has historically been used to adulterate Rose oil. It has also been used in traditional Indian medicine to treat fevers, infectious diseases, rheumatism and nerve pain. Palmarosa was also used to make incense blends in India, and was traded through the trading routes of India and Persia where it migrated for use in the West. Palmarosa essential oil is widely used for moisturizing skin. It effectively treats skin problems such as psoriasis, boils, eczema, acne and other similar problems. This oil is widely known for its therapeutic benefits and is widely appreciated among people for its effective properties. This oil is usefulness in cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries. Aromatically, Palmarosa Essential Oil has a slight similarity to Geranium Essential Oil and can sometimes be used as an aromatic substitute.

Conventional or organic available Hydrosol is the aromatic water that is produced during the distilling process. It has similar therapeutic properties to the essential oils, but is far less concentrated. These aromatic products possess a similar scent to their oil counterpart and the plant matter used in the distillation process imparts the hydrosol with the water-soluble aromatic and therapeutic properties of the plant. With a strong floral and sweet fragrance, rose is a favorite in the fragrance industry and favored in skin care with its soothing and hydrating properties. The high cost of Rose Otto Oil makes Rose Otto Hydrosol a viable alternative. Rose Otto Oil is extracted via gentle steam distialltion, with this prized Hydrosol being a product of this process.

This rich oil infusion is full of soothing and healing benefits. Calendula flowers are macerated in Sunflower Oil in an approximate ratio of 1 to 10 to achieve this beautiful combination. Calendula infused in Sunflower Oil is versatile and useful, with soothing and softening qualities. Amongst its varied properties, it is anti-inflammatory, antifungal and anti-bacterial.

Native to the Mediterranean basin, the lemon savory is little known but is very interesting. Indeed, this small and resistant perennial sub-shrub combines the anti-infectious virtues of carvacrol with the anti-inflammatory virtues of geraniol and nerol.
