SIPERNAT® 50 S is a hydrophilic, finely milled silica. Besides its application as flow aid and highly effective anticaking agent it also may serve as carrier of especially high absorptive capacity in case particle fineness is required.

AEROSIL® 300 is a hydrophilic fumed silica with a specific surface area of 300 m²/g.

Dynasylan® A is also known as TEOS (tetraethoxysilane), is the ethyl ester of orthosilicic acid. This colorless, low-viscosity liquid boasts a SiO content of 28.5%. Utilization involves acid- or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis, leveraging all four ethoxy groups for reaction and earning it tetrafunctional status. Hydrolysis initiates silanol group formation, which further condenses to establish robust siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-). Notably, condensation begins before hydrolysis concludes, with ongoing condensation during storage resulting in gel formation. Gelation rate hinges on water concentration.

Dynasylan® SILBOND® Condensed serves as a raw material composed of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS; Si[OEt]4 ). This substance is utilized for acid- or alkali-catalyzed hydrolysis and subsequent condensation reactions, commonly known as the sol-gel process. The rate of gelation is influenced by the concentration of water and the pH.

SIPERNAT® 500 LS is a very finely ground silica with high surface area, low drying loss and particulary high absorbency.

Dynasylan® SILBOND® 40 is an ethyl polysilicate, emerges from partial hydrolysis of tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS). This transformation converts ethoxy groups into hydroxyl groups, generating silanols. Subsequent condensation of silanols engenders siloxane bonds (-Si-O-Si-O-) and prompts eventual gelation. Often deployed as an intermediary, Dynasylan® SILBOND® 40 undergoes further hydrolysis to produce a binder suitable for diverse applications. These include inorganic zinc-rich primers, investment casting molds, ceramic shapes, coatings, and thermal insulation.

SILESTER® XAR is a ready-to-use, prehydrolyzed ethyl silicate hybrid binder. The solvent used in SILESTER® XAR is a blend of ethanol and 2-propanol. This product is conveniently prepared and can be directly utilized in the production of ceramic slips, ramming mixes, and anticorrosion paints without any further processing steps.

Supreme H USP is a functional mineral that can be used in a range of applications such as industrial markets, food, and pharmaceuticals. Talc (hydrous magnesium silicate), chlorite, dolomite, and magnesite make up the majority of its composition. The product is odorless and has a white or off-white to light gray color.

Jetfine® 3CC is an off-white, high-purity, extremely platy submicron talc with an optimum aspect ratio and excellent top-size control. It is recommended for the best balance of stiffness and impact strength and to maximize HDT, dimensional stability, impact strength, and esthetics in high-performance plastics, as well as for nucleation, foamed plastics, and plastic films. It is compacted for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.

Mistron® ZSC is an off-white, high-purity, platy, fine talc that is surface treated for improved dispersion and hydrophobicity, as well as die lubrication in plastics and rubber applications. Additionally, it is used for microcellar foam nucleation in polymeric foams and for improving water resistance and electrical properties in wire and cable applications.

Mistron® CB is a high-purity, platy, very fine talc that has been surface-treated with a proprietary silane coupling agent for rubber applications. Mistron® CB can be used in either sulfur or peroxide-cured formulations to improve modulus and compression set. The platy structure of Mistron® CB significantly enhances its barrier properties.

Jetfine® 3CH is an ultrafine, hyper platy, white talc product that is engineered to meet the performance of Jetfine® 3CW for reinforcing the most critical TPO applications. Jetfine® 3CW is a new, ultrafine, hyper platy, bright talc product for reinforcing the most critical TPO applications. It is produced in Canada by a state-of-the-art beneficiation and micronization process that yields a product with exceptional reinforcing, dispersion, and molding properties in polypropylene-based compounds. It is produced only in compacted form for good handling and faster compounding rates.
