Sucroal Commercial Potassium Citrate Monohydrate is the potassium salt resulting from the neutralization reaction between citric acid and potassium hydroxide. It is presented as transparent crystals or white granular powder. Manufactured with non-allergenic ingredients, non-genetically modified organisms, and non-organic volatile solvents or substances, tripotassium citrate monohydrate is odorless, has a mild saline taste, and becomes deliquescent when exposed to the atmosphere.

When heated up to 100℃, it’ll lose crystal water and change to anhydrous substances, which will become Sodium Metaphosphate if it continues to be heated. In food industry, it is used as buffering, character improving agent, emulsifier, nutrition supplement, antioxidant additive, brine penetrable agent, sugar clarifier, stabilizer, coagulant and fowl scalding agent.
