TACKIDEX® Potato dextrins provide a variety of benefits to the manufacturer and consumer as both an excipient and a nutrient. They are white to yellow powders obtained from maize, tapioca, and potato starch by heat treatment. These are ingredients for clinical nutrition and nutraceuticals. Cargill Gel 04230 is a native starch derived from waxy maize. It offers various functionalities, including high heat viscosity, creating a cohesive, non-gelling texture. This starch provides excellent paste clarity and is especially useful in suspending particulates during the filling of canned products. Importantly, it breaks down during retorting, contributing little viscosity in the finished product.

Cargill Gel 04230 NGM is a native starch derived from non-GM (NGM) waxy maize. Its functionality includes high, hot viscosity, cohesive, non-gelling texture, excellent paste clarity, the ability to suspend particulates during filling of canned products, and it breaks down during retorting to contribute little viscosity in the finished product.

Cargill Xanthan Gum - Satiaxane is a polysaccharide produced through the fermentation of carbohydrates with Xanthomonas campestris and is primarily employed as a texturant. It serves as a highly effective thickener, especially well-suited for a range of pharmaceutical applications in the EU and US, serving as an excipient, as well as in personal care products where it functions as a binding or suspending agent. This product comprises Xanthan gum and is presented in the form of a white or yellowish-white, free-flowing powder.

NATIONAL™ 1545 - 31660100 food blend contains modified food starch based on waxy maize and erythorbic acid. It provides filling viscosity and acts as a suspension aid for particulate ingredients in canned products. It is recommended as a fill viscosity aid for canned products where it breaks down under retorting conditions to leave little or no residual viscosity in the finished product. This product is available under Ingredion Incorporated’s TRUETRACE® Identity Preserved Program for non-GM products.

A food grade pregelatinized cold water-soluble waxy rice starch. It is a white powder, free from lump and foreign matter, with neutral flavor, odor, and bland taste. It used as thickening, stabilizing, and suspending properties are required in an aqueous medium without cooking. To improve hydration and avoid lumping it is recommended to blend with other dry ingredients before adding to liquids.

Action Gum 5000 EC is a low cost and low usage product, exhibiting stability over a wide pH range, but works best in the pH range of 3.5 and higher. At the low end of the pH range we recommend Action Gum 5000 EC for food service products, while at pH of 4.0 and above it is suitable for products requiring long shelf-life. Although cold water soluble, Action Gum 5000 EC will work equally well in hot processed systems.

In this process, the CMC turns the MCC, which is insoluble, into an ingredient dispersible in water. When the finished co-processed product is subjected to suitable agitation, it forms an opaque white gel with thixotropic nature. Tabulose SC-580 has the ability to suspend particles through the formation of a three-dimensional network and not just by increasing the viscosity. It is also stable over a wide temperature range, and with a pH between 3.5 and 11.0. This food stabilizer is very heat resistant and makes for a good thickener in food applications such as ice cream, marshmallows, mayonnaise, salad dressings and powder shakes.

These properties make it an effective suspending agent sufficient to suspend fine particles while preventing oil droplet separation. Heat stable in the presence of Potassium Chloride or other salts Xanthan Gum solutions are also stable at high pH levels when compared to other hydrocolloids.
