Naxcat® TSA-95 is the strongest of our organic acids and is the most suitable esterification catalyst for the production of phthalates and other plasticizers. They are similar in strength to mineral acids like sulfuric acid, but they are particularly useful for organic reactions where an inorganic, mineral acid may cause charring, oxidation, or an unwanted chemical reaction.
