Gelest Chromium Oxide Green TC (GIA-TCA) is a green powder treated with triethoxycaprylylsilane. This alkyl silane coating provides a very hydrophobic surface that increases the ease of particle dispersion in natural and synthetic fluids and helps stabilize particles in emulsion systems.

This pigment imparts the excellent wetting properties of the shorter-chain silanes with a more emollient skin feel in powders and dispersed systems.
