CarbonResin™ MPU 100 ofers a unique combination of mechanical strength, biocompatibility, and sterilizability. MPU 100 is Carbon’s first medical-grade material, designed to help medical product manufacturers accelerate product development cycles and improve the quality of their products. Similar to Carbon’s rigid polyurethane materials, MPU 100 is a two component material that produces isotropic parts with fine features.

CarbonResin™ EPU 40 is a high performance polyurethane elastomer that is a good choice for applications where high elasticity, resilience, and tear resistance are needed. EPU is our elastomeric material family. Its combination of tear strength, energy return, and elongation makes it perfect for cushioning, impact absorption, vibration isolation, gaskets, and seals. EPU 40 is our original elastomer material.

CarbonResin™ SIL 30 is a soft, biocompatible, and tear resistant silicone urethane elastomer that is ideal for comfortable skin-contact applications. SIL 30 is a silicone urethane. It is the first additive material to offer a unique combination of biocompatibility, low durometer, and tear-resistance. This material opens up the ability to print customized applications for comfortable skin contact products such as headphones, wristbands, and various attachments for wearables. SIL is a specialty material available for specific production applications.

CarbonResin™ RPU 61 is a tough, and abrasion-resistant higher resolution material that is a good choice for parts that require rigidity, strength, and durability. Rigid Polyurethane is our most versatile rigid material family. It is used across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, automotive, and industrial. RPU is comparable to ABS.

CarbonResin™ CE 220 is a high performance material with excellent strength, stiffness and thermal stability that is a good choice for use at elevated temperatures. CE is comparable to glass-filled nylon.

CarbonResin™ EPX 82 combines functional toughness, stiffness, and temperature resistance making it useful in a variety of automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. EPX 82 is a high-strength engineering material with excellent long-term durability and mechanical properties comparable to lightly glass-filled thermoplastics (e.g. 20% GF-PBT, 15% GF-Nylon). EPX 82 has a heat deflection temperature ranging from 104°C to 130°C (depending on conditioning) and the functional toughness required for a variety of automotive and industrial applications such as connectors, brackets, and housings.

CarbonResin™ DPR 10 is a material for dental model production. Carbon’s DPR 10 resin is ideally suited for dental models and dies, featuring high accuracy, and fast printability. It is available in a stone color appropriate for dental and orthodontic use. DPR 10 can also be reclaimed allowing for cost-effective use.

CarbonResin™ UMA 90 is an easy-to-use single cure resin with enhanced toughness, appropriate for use in prototypes and manufacturing jigs and fixtures.

CarbonResin™ FPU 230 is an impact, abrasion and fatigue resistant semi-rigid material that is a good choice for parts that must withstand repetitive stresses such as living hinges or friction fits.

CarbonResin™ CE 221 is a high performance material with excellent strength, stiffness, and temperature resistance (231 °C). CE is comparable to glass-filled nylon.

CarbonResin™ PR 25 is a rapid production material that has excellent resolution, prints quickly, and is able to withstand moderate functional testing.

CarbonResin™ FPU 50 is an impact, abrasion and fatigue resistant semi-rigid material that is a good choice for parts that must withstand repetitive stresses such as living hinges or friction fits. CarbonResin™ RPU 70 is a tough, heat resistant material that is a good choice for parts requiring strength, toughness, and moderate heat resistance. Rigid Polyurethane is our most versatile rigid material family. It is used across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, automotive, and industrial. RPU is comparable to ABS. RPU 70 has a UL 94 HB flame resistance classification.

CarbonResin™ EPU 41 is a production-scale elastomeric material that is especially well-suited for elastomeric lattices where high resiliency is needed. EPU is our elastomeric material family. Its combination of tear strength, energy return, and elongation makes it perfect for cushioning, impact absorption, vibration isolation, gaskets, and seals. EPU 41 is our production-grade elastomeric material. EPU 41 has higher resilience (energy return) and better retention of elastomeric properties than EPU 40 at temperatures > -10°C. Offered only in 5-L bulk packaging, EPU 41 will require MMD (meter, mix, and dispense) equipment for proper dispensing of the material in bulk quantities.
