SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ THERMOCOMP™ AM DC004XXA11is a compound based on High Heat PC copolymer resin containing 20% carbon fiber for Large Format Additive manufacturing (LFAM) applications, including mid-temperature autoclaving tooling. This compound can offer higher temperature performance than standard PC and avoid some of the processing challenges associated with high temperature materials.

This product does not contain PFAS intentionally added during SHPP’s manufacturing process and are not expected to contain unintentional PFAS impurities. MOCOM Compounds ALCOM® 3D TCE PC 5020 16116 is a polycarbonate-based polymer with 20% special filler that has increased thermal conductivity, is antistatic, and is heat stabilized. It is used in the Lighting, electrical and electronic market segment and is applicable for Extrusion of 3D printable FDM filaments for functional components. Processing Injection molding Filament extrusion melt temperature should be 250-270°C, and recommendations for 3D printing depending on printer type are nozzle temperature of 300-320°C, bed temperature of 80-120°C, and print speed of 10-60 mm/s.

Nanovia PC, PTFE is a technical material that combines polycarbonate mechanical properties with PTFE low friction. Specially conceived for applications involving friction and rubbing, Nanovia PC-PTFE allows for low friction and low wear 3D printed pieces.

Z-PEI 9085 is a durable, aerospace-grade polymer with strength-to-weight ratio comparable to aluminum 6061. This filament consists of polyetherimide with a polycarbonate copolymer blend. Z-PEI 9085 exhibits excellent thermal properties and retains its properties in temperatures reaching 170° C . The most notable property of Z-PEI 9085 is very low FST (Flame, Smoke, Toxicity). The material has a UL 94 V-0 flammability rating which makes it perfect for printing flame-retardant components.

PC (Polycarbonate) 3D printer filament. Push Plastic PC is an engineering grade filament that has been specifically formulated to be used for 3D printing. Our PC offers excellent rigidity and heat resistance as well as clarity in its natural form. This PC has a slightly lower melt temperature than traditional Poly-carbonate to allow for use with most 3D printers.

Solaxis PC-ISO an industrial thermoplastic, is biocompatible (ISO 10993 USP Class VI)* and can be gamma or EtO sterilized. PC-ISO is commonly used in food and drug packaging and medical device manufacturing because of the material’s strength and medical compatibility. When combined with a Fortus® 3D Printer, PC-ISO gives you parts that can be used for conceptual modeling, functional prototyping, and production parts.

Solaxis PC is widely used in automotive, aerospace, medical and many other applications. PC offers accuracy, durability and stability, creating strong parts that withstand functional testing. A PC part manufactured on a Fortus® 3D Printer is 5 to 60 percent stronger than a part made on previous FDM® systems. It also has superior mechanical properties to ABS and a number of other thermoplastics. When combined with a Fortus 3D Printer, PC gives you strong parts for conceptual modeling, functional prototyping, manufacturing tools, and production parts. PC runs the Xtend 500 Fortus Plus option, which enables more than 400 hours of unattended build time.

PC CF carbon fiber reduces the polycarbonate’s tendency to warp during printing, whilst increasing its mechanical properties. These added fibers also increase the material’s UV resistance, native polycarbonate being sensible to it.
