SABIC's Specialties Business LNP™ COLORCOMP™ Compound WQ117945 is a PET based masterbatch for foaming applications containing a nanostructured, non-mineral based additive. Typical usage levels in final foam formulations are below 5%.

EverGlide® MB1550 is a Polyethylene terephthalate polymer which makes your parts last longer, decrease heat generation, and improve lubricity. Plastics are being used to replace metal in applications where metal parts have been used for decades. We know that plastic offers many advantages to metal, however most plastics, without additives, lack the properties required for demanding applications.

OPTIPET™-213M is a chain extender that can react with the chains of recycled PET scrap and restore its original properties.

OPTIPET™ 214M is a chain extender master batch for polyamides. It reacts with recycled Nylon scrap and restores its original properties. OPTIPET™ 214M is used to give the combined effect of a reactive chain extender, as well as impact modifier for polyamide plastics. Multifunctional active material in the OPTIPET™ 214M master batch reacts with some of the polyamide endgroups of different chains. This crosslinks the smaller chains that had been formed due to degradation in the scrap during earlier use.

Pennacle® 66B119 is a Black Pigment Additive. During our initial development of Pennacle®, a palette of pigments and dyes were established that had little to no effect on the rate of crystallization of PET. From this, a series of industry standard colors were developed and sent to an outside lab for analysis. Free Blow experiments were conducted to evaluate the effect of Pennacle® on Natural PET resin. In two stages preforms were molded, then conditioned and free blown to evaluate blow parameters and physical properties. The results of these experiments are listed below. This palette is the basis for all Pennacle® color matches made today in PET.

Polytec Masterbatch PT-590001 is a black masterbatch with concentration of up to 50% carbon content based on Polymer based on carrier resin PET plastics and low titanium concentrations. It is used in applications such as Extrution and Injection.

KRITILEN® PT6302 is a black masterbatch containing 30% P-type carbon black on a PET carrier suitable for transparent black PET straps. The production of PET straps requires the use of specialty additive masterbatches, which enable the end processor to optimize the production process and also improve the end product properties and functionality.
