PEXIDAN® SX720 is a silane grafted polyethylene compound, curable by exposure to moist conditions, and possessing good extrusion properties at high output rates. The graft component SX720 is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM488 generally in the ratio 95:5. The highly crosslinked materials produced by this two-component system possess excellent impact strength, ESCR, creep and internal pressure resistance under ambient and elevated temperature conditions. The four mentioned formulations differ in being filled or non-filled and their mechanical properties. The B-components Z 400 (potlife 8-12 min.) and Z 460 (potlife 60-70 min.) are identical and can be mixed with each other to control the reactivity, e.g. potlife. These combinations of Z 400 and Z 460 comp. B can be made any way as long as the totally required quantity of comp. B is observed (for each system). SIROPOL 992 FR resin is a medium viscosity, unprompted flame retardant vinylester-based resin. Laminates made with SIROPOL 992 FR resin have achieved Flame retardancy BS476: Part 7:1997 Class I rating with 3% antimony trioxide and Flame retardancy ASTM E-84 Class I rating with 3 % antimony trioxide.

RECKLI Epoxy GF Filler is a pasty, glass fiber reinforced, solvent-free twocomponent epoxy resin with high impact resistance as well as compressive- and flexural strength. It is almost shrinkage-free and insensitive to moisture, thus being applicable on slightly humid surfaces. The addition of further filling material is not recommended.

Typical uses of this material include fuel tanks, urea tanks and stretchers where the rigidity of longer moldings is critical.
