ELASTOSIL® AUX G 3243 is a solvent-based mixture of siloxanes and reactive silanes used as adhesion promoters for silicone rubbers. It is used to pretreat metallic, ceramic, glass, or other polymeric substrate surfaces to enable excellent adhesion towards subsequently vulcanized ELASTOSIL® R solid silicone elastomers (HCR/HTV, peroxide curing).

SILRES® BS 68 is a solvent-thinnable silane/siloxane mixture. It is used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials and as a primer for mineral substrates. The concentrated product is also employed in the manufacturing of bitumen-bound minerals or as a binder for mineral systems. The product develops its hydrophobic effect through a reaction with atmospheric moisture or water adsorbed onto the pores and capillary walls of the construction material. SILRES® BS 68 is characterized by higher alkali resistance compared to pure methyl silicone resins, and the water vapor permeability of the construction material is only slightly affected.

WACKER® Primer G 719 is a solvent-based mixture of siloxanes and reactive silanes used as an adhesion promoter for silicone rubbers. WACKER® Primer G 719 is a solution of siloxanes and reactive silanes in organic solvents. It is used to pretreat metallic, ceramic, glass, or other polymeric substrate surfaces to enable excellent adhesion towards subsequently vulcanized ELASTOSIL® R plus or LR silicone elastomers (addition curing).

POWERSIL® 79032 is an electrically conductive silicone rubber dispersion in xylene. It serves as both a conductive coating and an adhesion-promoting primer. This product is supplied as a ready-to-use, one-component system, making it convenient for application. It exhibits low volume resistivity and acts as an effective adhesion promoter. POWERSIL® 79032 is suitable for various coating techniques, including dipping, brushing, and spraying.

During evaporation of the solvent and on exposure to atmospheric humidity at ambient temperature, a rigid primer film is formed that firmly adheres to the substrate. Application of silicone rubber onto the primed substrate and subsequent vulcanization will then result in a tight bond between the silicone rubber and the substrate.

WACKER® Primer G 790 Toluene Free is a solution of reactive siloxanes and silanes in an organic solvent. It is specifically formulated to be free of toluene and other aromatic solvents. The primer can be applied directly to the substrate or diluted if desired. As the solvent evaporates and when exposed to ambient humidity, the primer forms a rigid film that firmly adheres to the substrate. By applying a silicone rubber onto the primed substrate and subsequently vulcanizing it, a strong bond is achieved between the silicone rubber and the substrate.

SILRES® BS OH 100 is a solventless, ready-to-use product designed for the consolidation of construction materials. Its primary application is the restoration of weather-damaged natural stone, stucco, or frescoes. Additionally, it can be used to treat other construction materials like brick or terracotta.

It effectively binds to a wide range of surfaces, providing long-lasting protection. The key highlights of this product are as follows: Synergistically enhances the effectiveness of disinfection and sanitization. Has broad compatibility and can be incorporated in a vast variety of formulations and substrates. Excellent safety profile: non-toxic, non-irritating, and does not show transdermal absorption. Typical use concentrations of 0.25 - 0.5 weight % of active relative to the substrate being treated.

SILRES® BS 16 is an aqueous solution of potassium methyl siliconate used in diluted form for the hydrophobic impregnation of mineral construction materials, making them water-repellent. The water-repellent properties of SILRES® BS 16 are developed through its reaction with atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), forming polymethylsilicic acid. However, it should be noted that, like all siliconates, SILRES® BS 16 may cause a white deposit on the surface of colored construction materials if used outside the recommended application guidelines.

SILRES® BS 2001 is a water-thinnable, solventless emulsion based on a mixture of silane and siloxane. It is a ready-to-use solution that serves as a high-quality water repellent for impregnating and priming mineral surfaces. After application, the emulsion undergoes hydrolysis, releasing alcohol and converting into a silicone resin.

Wacker Chemie Primer FMP HC is a solution of reactive silanes in a mixture of isoalkanes. After the solvent evaporates, exposure to atmospheric humidity at ambient or elevated temperature leads to the formation of a rigid film of silicone resin that firmly adheres to the substrate. The catalyzed silicone rubber applied on top forms a tight bond with this resin film during vulcanization.

CHT Group ACC15 is a low-viscosity, 1-component, condensation-curing silicone coating. The uncured product can be applied by pouring or brushing and is readily cured into a tough, transparent rubber. Trapylen® 145 X 2 is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene recognized for its remarkable affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP, PP/EPDM-blends, and, to a limited extent in adhesion strength, PE. Notably, the resin in Trapylen® 145 X 2 boasts a higher molecular weight within the range of 110,000 and a significantly lower chlorine content compared to other maleic-modified Trapylen® grades. These distinctive properties contribute to improved adhesion as well as enhanced heat and chemical resistance. However, it's important to note that these enhancements come at the cost of lower solubility and compatibility.

Trapylen® 145 S is a chemically modified low-chlorinated polypropylene renowned for its exceptional affinity to polyolefinic plastics, including PP and PP/EPDM-blends. This product is versatile, serving either as a straight primer or as an adhesion promoter for base coats and pigmented primers. Its primary application lies in paintings and coatings for molded parts and sealing profiles in the automotive industry, such as bumpers, side panels, and door seals. Trapylen® 911 S is newly developed chlorine-free polyolefin with excellent adhesion properties on polyolefinic substrates such as polypropylene, PP/EPDM thermoplastic rubbers and with limitations to adhesion strength - as well to polyethylene. Further advantage of this grade is its good solubility in non-aromatic solvents. TRAPYLEN® 911 S is used as adhesion promoter for in printing inks, adhesives and paints, or as a straight primer.

Trapylen® 6800 W is an adhesion promoter based on chemically modified, low-chlorinated polypropylene dissolved in water. It has outstanding affinity to polyolefinic substrates. It is especially developed to improve surface tension of treated and untreated films, foils, foams and even molded parts of PP, PE, polyolefinic blends,a.o. The increase of wetting properties permits the bonding, printing, flocking and painting of such substrates. TRAPYLEN® 6800 W can be occassionally used as adhesion promoter incorporated in adhesives, inks and paints in case of sufficient compatibility.

Notably, it demonstrates favorable solubility in non-aromatic solvents.
