AAA Molybdenum Products Ammonium Heptamolybdate, ACS Reagent Grade

AAA Molybdenum Products Ammonium Heptamolybdate, ACS Reagent Grade is a white, crystalline powder, soluble in water. It is a high purity compound and can be used in gravimetric precipitation analysis, particularly Phosphate, Silicate, Arsenate, and Lead; therefore, ACS Reagent specifications are particularly stringent in respect to these trace anions. When heated, Ammonium Heptamolybdate will begin to release its waters-of-hydration (above 90°C) and decompose (above 190°C) into Ammonia and other Molybdate derivatives. Ammonium Heptamolybdate is distinguished by a very low trace impurity concentration and by the highest water solubility of any ammonium molybdate: 63.5 g/100 cm3 at 25°C.
