Coltsfoot Leaf Extract is a natural extract of the leaves of Tussilago Farfara. Coltsfoot leaves contain mucilage, cystine, sulfur and silica. Mucilage is an anti-inflammatory and silica is effective for soothing the scalp and clearing dandruff. Coltsfoot is also known to have antimicrobial properties. It can be used in formulations for personal care products such as soothing lotions, dandruff control shampoos or in many other types of applications.
