Virosoft™ CP4 is a biological insecticide containing Cydia pomonella granulovirus. Virus particles must be ingested by larvae to be effective. Timing applications, so that early-instar larvae exiting the eggs or on the surface of the leaf, bark or fruit come in contact with the virus before entering the fruit, will ensure maximum effectiveness. VIROSOFT™ CP4 may be used in integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
