The fruit is carefully harvested, washed, cooled, and rapidly handled prior to processing. Red tart Elliott pitted cherries (5+1 pack) are packed at 25 pounds per container, topped with 5 pounds of dry sugar to prevent oxidation, and frozen at 0°F or lower. All products are evaluated based on U.S. Standards for grades of Frozen red tart pitted cherries (June 1974) Grade A, B, C or substandard.

Cherry Central Montmorency Red Tart Cherries , IQF - Halves (FP07-09) are prepared from properly ripened fruit of the red tart cherry variety group Montmorency. The fruit is carefully harvested, washed, cooled, and rapidly handled prior to processing. Cherries are destemmed, sorted, sized, and pitted. The fruit is individually quick frozen, packaged in a polylined box, passed through a metal detector, and stored at 0°F or less. All products are evaluated based on U.S. Standards for grades of frozen red tart pitted cherries (June 1974) Grade A.

Cherry Central Montmorency Red Tart Cherries , IQF - Halves (FP07-09)

Cherry Central IQF Dark Sweet Pitted Cherries - Grade B (FP04-31) are prepared from the properly ripened fruit of commercial dark sweet cherry varieties. The fruit is carefully harvested and handled rapidly prior to processing. The cherries are destemmed, washed, sized, pitted, and sorted. The cherries are then individually quick frozen in a commercial freezing unit, packed at 0°F ± 5°F, and stored in accordance with good commercial practices at 0°F for the best preservation of this product.

Cherry Central 5+1 Montmorency Red Sour Cherries (FP07-95) are prepared from properly ripened fruit of the Montmorency variety group of the red sour cherry. Cherry Central 9+1 Red Tart Cherries - Frozen (FP07-150) are prepared from properly ripened fruit of the Montmorency variety group of the red tart cherry. The fruit is carefully harvested, washed, cooled, and rapidly handled prior to processing. Cherries are sized, destemmed, sorted, and pitted. The cherries are packed at 27 pounds per container, topped with 3 pounds of dry sugar to prevent oxidation, and frozen at 0°F or lower. All products are evaluated based on U.S. Standards for grades of frozen red tart pitted cherries (June 1974) Grade A, B, C or substandard.

Cherry Central Balaton Cherries - IQF (FP07-51) are prepared from properly ripened, balaton type, variety group fruit. The fruit is carefully harvested, washed, cooled, and rapidly handled prior to processing. Cherries are sized, destemmed, sorted, and pitted. The Balaton cherries are individually quick frozen, packaged in a polylined box, and stored at 0°F or less. All products are evaluated based on U.S. Standards for grades of frozen red tart pitted cherries (June 1974) Grade A.

This puree is thermally processed, frozen at 0°F or less, and sold as an ingredient for further processing.

Cherry Central Dark Sweet Cherry, Puree Single Strength - Frozen (FP04-14)

Cherry Central Dried Blueberries (FP02-144) are produced from blueberries that have been washed, stemmed, and force-air dried. One serving of blueberries contains almost 25% of the daily requirement for vitamin C, is low in fat and sodium, high in antioxidants, and has only 80 calories per cup.

Cherry Central Dried Cranberries, Sliced Sweetened - With Sucrose (FP03-01) are produced from sliced frozen cranberries. They are sweetened with sucrose (cane sugar), dried to a specified percentage of moisture, and packaged. Sunflower oil is used as a processing aid to help prevent sticking.
