Cospheric Fluorescent Red Polyethylene Microspheres 0.995g/cc - 10um to 1180um (1.2mm) are hydrophobic and suspend easily in oil-based solutions. They can also be suspended in aqueous solution if coated with a surfactant prior to suspending in water. We recommend using Tween 80 or Tween 20 Surfactants. Bright fluorescent red microspheres are supplied in dry powder form. Fluorescent particles of known density and particle diameter range are often used in density-matching for flow visualization and analysis of fluid flow in a device. Particles exhibit a strong fluorescent response and are color stable in solution.
