IMSIL® microcrystalline silica fillers are produced from an inert, naturally occurring alpha quartz with a unique grape-like morphology. Finer micronized grades are useful in formulating higher gloss paints and systems requiring controlled particle top size such as Industrial OEM topcoat coats and non-conductive inks. Intermediate size grades offer ideal and uniform gloss control for topcoats, coil coats and increased inter-coat adhesion between primers and topcoats. Coarser grades offer high solids loading with low viscosity,  texture, anti-skid  and abrasion resistance in industrial floor coatings and exterior deck coatings.

Mincrop FG is an industrial additive composed of sepiolite (hydrous magnesium silicate), which finds specific end uses as technological additives for animal feed, rheological additives, and in agroindustries. The product appears as a cream to greyish powder and is odorless. Mincrop FG is also TSCA-registered.

TYTAN™ X85 is made up of titanium acetylacetonate, which acts as a resin modifier and crosslinker. It is utilized as a crosslinking agent for hydroxyl compounds and as a constituent of heat- and corrosion-resistant paints. The product delivers enhanced corrosion resistance, coating uniformity, and adhesion/coupling.

Portafill® H 5 F11.0 is produced from a carefully selected, naturally occurring, platy, sedimentary mineral consisting predominantly of partially hydrated magnesium-calcium carbonate. The standardized quality of Portafill® H 5 is guaranteed by means of an ISO 9001-certified quality management plan. The chemical composition of raw material and product is closely monitored, and particle size is kept within a narrow variation. Particle shape, fineness, and high brightness make Portafill® H 5 a very efficient extender for TiO2 in paint, paper, and board applications. Its platy particle shape and very fine particle size make Portafill® H 5 an effective rheology modifier in aqueous suspensions and other fluids. It is therefore valued for applications in a/o adhesives, sealants, and plastisols.

Crys-Talc® 6H-6HC is a high-brightness, fine, micro-lamellar talc that is recommended for nucleation of polymers and for film and thin-gage polymer applications. It significantly increases the crystallization temperature of semi-crystalline polymers, including polyolefins, polyamides, and polyesters. Crys-Talc® 6H also enhances the stiffness, HDT, and dimensional stability of polymer compounds. The high brightness and micro-crystallinity of the talc ore used make Crys Talc® 6H ideal for film or thin sheet applications that require optimum optical properties, e.g., high clarity and low haze. Crys-Talc® 6HC is the compacted form of Crys-Talc® 6H and is recommended for maximum extruder throughput, minimum dust, and improved dispersion.

DeCAL 2020 is a rheology modifier that enables the formulation of paints with a Newtonian rheology, making it suitable for use in a wide range of paints, from flat to high gloss. To achieve the best balance of flow and sag resistance, it can be used in combination with other thickeners of natural or synthetic origin.

ACCESS® WetGrip XL Cross Linker is a high-performance crosslinking agent that can be used to improve the adhesion and durability of a variety of coatings and other materials. It is particularly effective at improving wet adhesion and can be used to enhance the performance of coatings that will be exposed to water or other liquids. ACCESS® WetGrip XL Cross Linker can also provide improved scratch and abrasion resistance, as well as enhanced weather resistance. With its excellent properties and versatility, ACCESS® WetGrip XL Cross Linker is a valuable tool for formulators looking to enhance the performance of their products.

DeCAL 4201 is an acrylic binder ideally suited for use in water-based flexographic inks. The product exists as an alkali-soluble carboxylated copolymer emulsion but can also be supplied in its neutralized varnish form as DeCAL 4202. Inks prepared using DeCAL 4201 possess excellent machine stability/resolubility, viscosity/pH stability, favorable viscosity/dilution curves, and excellent pigment wetting characteristics.

Mistroblock 6HT-6HTC is a bright, micro-lamellar talc with a finer size distribution compared to our standard Mistroblock® HT product, developed specifically for polyolefin film anti-blocking applications. It provides very good mechanical film properties with a minimum impact on film haze and clarity. Mistroblock® 6HT is surface modified for reduced interaction with processing aids and improved dispersion in masterbatch applications. Mistroblock® 6HTC is compacted to maximize extrusion throughput and minimize dust generation.

DeCAL 2042 is a low viscosity product used to disperse inorganic pigments and fillers in waterborne systems. It is especially suited for use in silk and gloss emulsion paints where its compatibility with glycols maintains the gloss of the system.
