XIAMETER(TM) MEM-1352 Emulsion is a non-ionic emulsion supplied at 60% silicone content. The emulsion contains a blend of ultra-high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane and high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane. XIAMETER(TM) MEM-1352 Emulsion delivers conditioning, shine, and sensory benefits in shampoos and conditioners. It can also be used in shower gels to provide emolliency, creamier foam, and a silky smooth after feel on skin.

XIAMETER™ MEM-1352 Emulsion is a useful conditioning additive for personal care products:

  • In shampoos, it provides strong conditioning performance. It improves wet and dry combing, acting to protect damaged and permed hair. It also adds shine and a nice soft feel to the hair. In rinse or leave-in conditioners, it adds gloss and lubricity to the hair shaft.
  • In mixed based and surfactant based shower gels, it is an excellent emollient. It provides a creamy foam, leaves the skin more supple, and provides a moistured, soft, silky and smooth after feel.
  • Commercial use of this product is limited to applications not regulated by TSCA.
Usage

XIAMETER™ MEM-1352 Emulsion is water dilutable, making it easy to formulate with. The recommended concentration level is 1 to 5%. It is best to add the product below 45°C (113°F) in order to minimize risk of emulsion instability.
