Apply 45-560 by brush, roller or airless spray (2000 PSI and .017 tip).
Coverage
45-560 will cover up to 300-350sq.ft @4.0 mils wet and 2.0 mils dry.
- Surface Preparation
Warning! Removal of old paint by sanding, scraping or other means may generate dust or fumes that contain lead. Exposure to lead dust or fumes may cause brain damage or other adverse affects, especially in children or pregnant women. Controlling expoSure to lead or other hazardous sub stances requires the use of proper protective equipment, such as a properly fitted respirator (NIOSH approved) and proper containment and cleanup.
Spot Priming
When spot priming on some surfaces, a non-uniform appear ance of the final coat may result, due to differences in holdout between primed and unprimed areas. To avoid this, prime thei'entire surface rather than spot priming.
Metal
Remove all loose rust, dirt, grease and salt. Degrease surface if necessary. For Maximum adhesion on clean steel abrade surface with a course sandpaper.
Cleanup lnformation
Clean spills, spatters, hands and tools immediately after use with mineralspirits. Follow manufacturer's safety recommendations when using mineral Sprits.
- Important Do's & Don'ts
- Surface must be dry for 24 hours before application!
- Do not apply when temperature is below 50 F or above 90°F.
- Do not apply if rain or heavy dew is threatening.
- Do not thin.
- Avoid heavy buildup and overlapping of sealer.
- One coat is usually sufficient. However, if a second coat is desired, allow 4 hours between coats.
- Allow 72 hours dry time before drying.
