- It has excellent foaming power and detergency property. It is also a good emulsifier
- It is most effective under alkaline conditions (pH > 7.5)

- Applications
- Galaxy™ 799 SP-MB can be used with other anionic, non-ionic or amphoteric surfactants.
- However, due to its anionic character, it should not be used with cationic components like cationic surfactants, cationic dyes, etc.
- Galaxy™ 799 SP-MB is used for a wide range of applications including:
- In tooth-paste as a foaming agent at concentration 1.5 - 3.0% of the total weight
- In shampoos as a surfactant and as a foaming agent
- In bathing bars (syndet and combi-bars), body wash, liquid soap, shower gels, etc. as a surfactant and as a foaming agent
- In pharmaceuticals as an emulsifier in ointment preparations, as a disintegration agent in tablets and as an intermediate in synthesis of erythromycin estolate
- In textile auxiliaries as a scouring agent
- In emulsion polymerization as an emulsifier
- In detergents as a surfactant and as a foaming agent for enhancement of performance especially in hard water

- Galaxy™ 799 SP-MB is available in 20 kg HDPE laminated kraft paper bags with HDPE liner.
- 560 bags palletized i.e. 11.2 MT or 750 bags non - palletized i.e. 15 MT can be shipped in a 20 ft. full container load.
- It can also be supplied in 500 kg jumbo bags.
- Total of 20 jumbo bags i.e. 10 MT can be shipped in 20 ft. full container load
Storage & Handling

- Storage and Handling Conditions
- Store the material in a clean, dry place at below 40°C, away from moisture, direct heat and sunlight.
- Keep the bags tightly closed. Agglomerates may form on storage.
- Since the product is hygroscopic in nature, use the product within a week after opening the bag.
- In the original sealed condition, when stored as suggested, the shelf life of the product is two years.
- Slight pH drop is possible over prolonged storage.
- In case of drop in pH, it is safe to use the material as long as the pH is ≥ 7.0.
- During storage, to avoid lumping, stack maximum 8 bags (non-palletized) and for palletized, single pallet on ground or in rack.
- Each Jumbo bag should be stored separately with crates or in the palletized form
