Steps Involved In Making Transparent Bar:
- Clean the vessel thoroughly and ensure that it is completely cleaned and dried. Brass or aluminium vessel is not recommended
- Charge the vessel with Galaxy SN 931 P & T flakes and with slow mixing, heat the material from 70 - 75°C till it is melted completely. (Caution: Stirring should be slow to avoid foam generation). For heating, low pressure steam or hot water bath is recommended to avoid any water loss. Excessive heating and / or higher temperature may result into loss in transparency and colour
- Make up the water loss if any, by addition of extra water for maintaining transparency of final cake
- Add colour and fragrance as per the requirement. Oil soluble colour can be incorporated by dissolving it in either propylene glycol or fragrance
- Stop mixing and allow the foam / air bubbles to settle
- Pour the material in a suitable mould
- Cool the mould. (Note: Fast cooling by using chilled water enhances transparency). The product would start solidifying at 58 - 60°C. Finish of the bar would depend on quality of the mould
- Remove the solid soap bar from the mould and stamp it. (Note: In manual stamping, smearing the die with a drop of glycerin further enhances transparency)
