CCP #1

  • Pasteurize, Vacuum Dry at 180°F for 30 seconds

CCP #2

  • Magnets: 5 lbs and 11 lbs magnets are used post sifting to extract large and fine metal particles. (3rd party Pull Test completed yearly).
  • Metal Detection- Critical Limits:
    • Ferrous-2.5mm test
    • Non Ferrous-2.0mm test
    • Stainless Steel -2.0mm test

CCP #3

  • Micro Biological Testing for:
    • Total Plate Count
    • Coliforms
    • Yeast & Mold
    • Salmonella
    • E.coli

  • Finished products labeled with product name, assigned lot code and net weight.

Packaging & Availability

Packaging Information

Product shall be packed in bulk cardboard boxes or paper bags with a vapor barrier at weights of 40 - 55 lbs depending on bulk density or totes.

Storage & Handling

Storage & Shelf Life

Do not expose to heat or direct sunlight. Maximum 36 months shelf life when stored properly in a cool, dry atmosphere. Product has a shelf life of 36 months when stored in an atmosphere of 70°F (20°C) or less with low humidity, longer if stored at -18°F (0°C).
