Ubiqsome

Ubiqsome® is the optimized delivery form of coenzyme Q10, formulated using the Phytosome® proprietary technology. Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) - also known as ubiquinone or ubidecarenone - is an essential endogenously produced cofactor for the electron transport chain in the mitochondria, and it also serves as a powerful antioxidant in cells. It is the only lipid-soluble antioxidant that can be synthesized by cells, and it plays an important role in sustaining cellular bioenergetics, thereby promoting activities such as sports, healthy aging, heart and cardiovascular health, brain health and many other activities that involve energy expenditure. Since the oral bioavailability of CoQ10 is rather low due to its high molecular weight and low aqueous solubility, it has been formulated with Phytosome® technology to optimize its bioabsorption.
