- NATIONAL™ 1545 food blend provides excellent fill viscosity at about 180°F (82°C). This product maintains its viscosity during typical kettle cooking operations and holding times prior to retorting.
- At retort temperatures and pressures, the starch loses its thickening power, contributing little viscosity in the final product. Its high viscosity at filling temperatures reduces any tendency for splashing on the can filling lines.
- NATIONAL™ 1545 food blend is an excellent suspension aid which helps maintain uniformity in canned products containing particulate ingredients.
- This product is available under Ingredion Incorporated’s TRUETRACE® Identity Preserved Program for non-GM products.
