Our organic Fairtrade couverture drops come from Peru. They are carefully manufactured there under the highest standards. The cocoa beans themselves come from all over Peru and are collected by various smallholder groups. Thanks to the extensive organic and fair trade projects, the farmers have been able to learn a lot in recent years and many useful projects have been implemented, such as equipping schools and playgrounds.
- Manufacturing
Cocoa beans are the seeds of the cocoa fruit, which are fermented after harvesting. In the process, they lose their bitterness. The beans are then gently dried, during which the polyphenols that determine the taste and the brown color are formed. The couverture is created by carefully mixing (conching) the raw, peeled (skinned) cocoa beans.
- Organic Ingredient

- Purity
Arrived in Austria, the drops are pressure treated and checked by us as standard. When it comes to printing, the interaction of pressure and time ensures absolute freedom from pests.
